WAD's robbed of cacoward's?

What wad's did you think were robbed of a cacoward by an other? The robber isn't necesrily a bad wad.

Please don't say brutal doom.

It would be rather silly to mention Brutal Doom, because that would be factually incorrect.

You should probably pick a better thread title, since "robbed of cacowards" is really weighted. Also, what's wit'h al'l th'e apostrophe's?

I also feel like there should be an implicit rule that by starting a thread about a general discussion topic, the OP should probably also contribute the topic as well. Otherwise we should probably adopt a newproject tag for posting threads.

When did brutal doom get the multiplayer award? The cacoward it got was for gameplay.

Blox pls. You got the dates and categories wrong. Samsara was beaten by WDI in Multiplayer last year

Apparently InsaneGazebo still means to add more maps to it, although I reckon what he's already got could snag him a shiny Caco.

I can't really think of any wads myself, but I do wish that Espi could've gotten Mapper of the Year.

Despite all the unnecessary and redundant new non-boss monsters, this wad featured many cool things, an outstanding original soundtrack, and the maps were amazing for its time (except the Hellish levels), but problems between the author and Doomworld's moderators destroyed any chances of a cacoward.

In fact, I really thought brutal deserved a cacoward, but sometimes it gets to the point of people saying that brutal doom died for our sins. I was playing samsara and my brother said "Y u no play bru doom?"

I personally don't place too much weight on the worth of the awards; they just seem to be another popularity contest. Not my bag, really.

And yes, I know that might sound weird coming out of someone who was heavily involved in a project that won one (guess that makes me winner by proxy?)...

Arcadia Demade. I felt that the only reason it won a cacoward was because it was "a Doom remake of a Bioshock level by the same person who made the level in Bioshock". I never played Bioshock and the map is not bad, but I´m sure there were better maps released that year.

But in all seriousness, I can't think of any outside of the aforementioned mod. It would've been neat to see another map on there. Akin to previous Cacoawards. I also believe Cacoawards should be given to maps. Mods are tough to give an award to. On person might like the mod, the other won't.. and we all seen how Brutal Doom was treated when it received its Cacoaward. Even I won't allow GSA to get it. As much as it'll help with its publicity, it's not meant to get it. Ryan on the other hand, might want it.
