This is still great on so many levels, but i think that the transition between screens (like after the barrel lottery thing in the e1m1 video) is a bit too abrupt, it just... Changes. No fade or anything.

Man, this is so amazing. I never realized how perfect the Doom engine could be for a platformer like DKC - impressive, just like all your other mods Doomero. Can't wait until it's fully finished!

i need to create a overworld map for that, but i need to finish the levels first.

I was talking about in-level transitions.
Basically, in the E1M1 video, when the player finishes the barrel lottery, they're warped back to the map, and the game does exactly that. No fade or anything.

Best level so far. I love the 3d Depth you've added to the level later on with the barrels and the bonus stage. keep it up

Remastered it my self with the same old snes vibe.

I have been watching a lot of the videos that has been posted in this topic, I must admit - this is truly impressive! Though, to be honest, this project only strengthens my urge to get a Super Nintendo console and play some of the games from my childhood.

This really is quite impressive. It would be funny if this project turned out to be a terrywad haha.
