[Release] Ressurection of doom2 [for Zdoom]

[Release] Ressurection of doom2 [for Zdoom]

hey :D
I've just registered right now and I'm Newbie here and excuse for my sudden post.

But I've just finished my creation of my zdoom wad, my first wad! "resurrection of doom2".
Here's the screenshot.

MAP01 MOON PRISON

MAP04: Pentagon's star ( secret level)
which is easy to be found...the switch is right next to the normal exit switch at map03:) plz dont forget to find.

MAP06: home dead nightmare ( last intense level ) Coop is recommendable.

MAP08: Credit map -- the appearance is almost same as map05 finalboss & map07 Death arena.

the wad contains 8 maps (including one credit map and one deathmatch map), with many many new monsters.

but i don't like to make it to be like just many custom monsters and weapons without any gameplay balance, so I adjust the health value of each custom monster. But sometimes, sometimes, over 10000 monsters will attack you (with the game balance of course...I dont want it to be joke wad lol).

Every map is available with cooperative gameplay. yea I actually made it for coop, though I dont know how to play coop lol
( I tested functions with bots)


well... the thing is... i started mapping about several years ago, but at that time i don't have any means to upload my files to all over the world.
(of course i don't have any skill to write down english haha lol )

then hard disc was crashed and I screwed up...

But now... I have my english speaking ! and when I met these zdoom wiki... I've just reminded of that fun thing about making the doom map. so I started again with new idea. and woow I can read the english manual on zdoom wiki without dictionary lol

it took whole 4 months. the people around me is like "what the hell are you doing? you are always in your room these days"

well...I couldnt say...to those who dont know doom....like

"HEEEY I'm actually making the cool doom map!"

I don't have any confidence but I put my every experiences with my video game history I've ever had.


it's the story about the former marine who hit teenage chick and fucked up to the jail in the moon at doom's day in 2145.

i hope you enjoy my maps.

if you get bored, just play the map05(final boss), map06(the story after you became the hero) lol

But the only thing I would regret is... "final cyberdemon" , which appear at the last of map05, is too strong for me...I've ever had... even I get annoyed every time he pwn me up. lol so could you skip it to next map06 if you get annoyed :) ?
Because I just want you to have fun.

When I'm in trouble (esp with ACS!! ), This forum history always helped me out.
Thank you to all the zdoom people here and all those staffs here.

and I hope, hope, My wad could be listed on the project for zdoom ... well it's not gonna happen? ... haha anyway, have fun

Time to figure out why your WAD is 100 MB.

Hmm, could it be that you're using MP3 music all over the place, included every monster ever from the Realm667 bestiary, and a whole lot of stuff that could stand to be better compressed? Eh...not like I really intended to play it, anyway...

sure its big and the download time is >9000 but i'm still looking forward to playing it

nvm too much lag on the first level cuz of all the crap inherit I loved the opening sequence though lol

This is a terrible jokewad plagued with horrible gameplay, way too long invasion sequences, obtuse puzzles and level design, stolen music, sound sequences, voiceclips and even a stolen level

The only positive point is that map01 could work if done by someone competent and the idea of map03 is kind fun too: a doom 2 map medley

But yeah this is horrible and it's almost impossible it wasn't terrible on purpose

Also before releasing something learn to spell, so much to avoid errors like VULVE SOFTWARE (vulve is, not surprisingly french for vulva)

Yeah, so that MAP04 screenshot is enough to make me not wanna DL the wad. 2 textures done ad infinitum, and that is totally not a good texture to use for the ground.

And why does the color look funky in those screens? It's like they were saved in a low-color format.

Despite being PNG it looks like they've gone through JPEG compression at some point, either that or they have bad scaling artifacts.

Thanks for ur downloading!
at first, first level has too much lags for me...so I adjusted the amount of those craps...but looks like it wasn't enough .... arrrrrg...sry ...

that opening was came from "XXX2: The Next Level ", "The international", "CSI New York: S3E24" and mixed each other lol

i like how map02 looks like it'd be more suited to one of the later maps in hell revealed or scythe 2 or something

i also like how map03 is map01
