[Request] Female Archer

Post by Shadelight »

Does anyone here have any sprites for a female archer that I could use for a player class?

I don't have them on this computer, but Daggerfall's female thief has a bow attack.

EDIT: I used them in HQuest 2 for the friendly mercenaries, not sure if they made it into the demo I released though.

Couldn't find it in any of the stuff you released and I don't have daggerfall to check it out. :|

Bethesda released it for free, actually. There's also a resource pack floating around the forum somewhere.

Might want to forgo Daggerfall completely, since their enemies lack death animations. (They just go from standing, to corpse).

Or, you know, draw those animations or ask someone else to. :P

As nice as that'd be, it'd probably take a lot of time and skill to pull of properly, given the given the amount of detail (etc.) daggerfall's enemies had.

Nah, not really. 5 or so single angle sprites of a character falling down (potentially partially concealed by blood) is one of the easier tasks versus say doing a walking animation with full rotations.

Eh, maybe if you had something to Frankenstein from other parts of the sprite, you could pull it off. But then you'd also have to consider making the five or so frames correlate to the corpse that's already in DF, assuming you were to keep it. Just doesn't seem like it'd be worth it IMO, but that's probably just my bias leaking through. DF has always been my no-no zone when it comes to sprite editing.
