The Great Bicycle Mystery 2

Post by TheCupboard »

Hey, it's all done after like 3 years of development! This wad is intended for cooperative play but it is fully compatible with single player (honest, I even had someone play solo through the whole thing on UV with -fast monsters). Just turn down the difficulty if you don't want to be blown out of the water at some points. It's a ZDaemon project but is compatible with ZDoom and Skulltag (DMFlags for all three ports are included in the text file).

So, why download this?

- The screenshots are very old and don't do the wad justice
- 9 new monsters
- 32 maps
- A great mystery of bicycle nature
- Built-in survival style mode when playing online

Thanks for playing and suggestions are welcome!

:P

Something important that I failed to mention in the text file was that the secret exit is on map12 and the super secret exit is on map31. Sorry if anyone was hunting on map15.

If you are playing single player, I would advise you to not do a pistol start after every single map because some are more tight on ammo than others.

I'm a few levels in and I must say that this is a very, very weird WAD. It's strange because, even though the theme screams joke-wad the actual levels are well constructed. But... just what IS the theme, anyway? Your bike at the beginning disappears, and hence the mystery begins....

Hehe, thanks everyone. Unfortunately there had to be an emergency release to fix some ammo balance issues that would affect gameplay if you played some maps from pistol start on UV. If you care about having the latest version, you can download a fresh copy (file name is the same though) from the same link at the top of the thread. I'm finished with this project, so there will be no further updates :!:
