Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Concept of a concept. Im not optimizing my monster spriting skill very well so the main problem is lining the lost soul with the head accordingly. One on the left is a concept for The Mad One from Bloodborne but its not tall enough so it may just be an Irithyllian Slave from Dark Souls 3 without its sword. Had some concepts of this sprite lying around and just wanted to return myself the favor of maybe finishing them. Second one is just a Ghost Rider looking variant, probably just my take on a Soul Harvester. So the full credits I gathered so far are Vader, Horror Movie Guy and Finalizer.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Mainly posting this as a concept even though I have every frame done except the death animation. Im not too familiar with Strife so Im not sure if I could find one or do it manually. Also not sure if I should go with a blue visor but Im going to do a version of that soon. Maybe put gloves on him to make him a slight more unique. I just ripped this from Captain Toe Nail's Zsec so credits to them and Rogue Entertainment.
EDIT: I finally have my own custom weapon, kinda. M9 base was taken from World of Guns: Gun Disassembly, hands made by Eriance, and pickup by The Railgunner. How did I do for the angle and shading?

Loving that shotgun, especially the detail of the wood grain. Is the shading your doing? Im digging it all around like the barrel and the sight.
I think a m9b is supposed to be bigger than an m1911 so im not sure about its size yet. Also updated the pick up sprite for the m9b since it still had a synthetic pistol grip.

@carbinedioxide
Mostly frankenspriting, but a lot of shading, blending, colouring, colourmapping as well as general pixel-punching reconstruction and finework replacement to do, after the fact.
Do like your angled pistols of late. I mean I'd never use them cos I'm a stickler for centred weaps in doom but they'd be great in a mod with all other angles stuff.
To me it's a cardinal sin to mixed angled and centred in a single mod. (Unless it's two weapons akimbo like pistols, where your fov is looking between them)
Fyi, I'm not really around here at all these days. Just popping in to say hi to you, really.
But you can find me on doomworld forums should the fancy take you...
I've pretty much got my mod (major crisis) to a point I'm happy with it now and feel I can leave it alone. Bar the odd weapon 'skin' options for it, like this shotgun above...
Over a decades work on it now and as much as it was fun, I can't devote the time to modding like I used to. Still enjoy a bit of good old frankenspriting though...

Surprised nobody else has done this yet (at least that I'm aware of)...

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Is that PSX Doom Guy? If so I think it has been done before, I have it in my folders somewhere but I dont know who made it. He had like a green vest over his tank top. If im sorely mistaken then its still a nice marine sprite! Ive always liked how expressive your character sprites are. The colors are nice too.
EDIT: Found the original and the heads look dashingly similar so Im sure you know the one Im talking about. Is it a different character perhaps?

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The head comes from the PSX Guy skin, but the armour/fatigues are the main thing here. It's more obvious than you think.

Slight edit to bring it a bit more in line. I will be finishing this.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
My next guess would be the marine from Doom 2's boxart/titlepic, but the lack of details like a red spot on the left shoulder and torn pants still leave me unsure.
