Not sure if this has been done before, but I started working on removing demon bodies, starting with the Pain Elemental, to only leave limbs and other notable parts. (Mostly claws, horns, eyes, teeth, arms, legs, tails, etc.) Hopefully these can be useful for quick pulling parts from demons without needing to remove the body around the desired parts.
Feel free to use in whatever. ^_^
Back from the dead for a brief moment. Been playing way too much with Stable Diffusion. I've been attempting to make HD sprites of some things. SD is capable of doing the job but it takes quite a bit of work to get what you want out of it. Unfortunately the size limitations here don't allow me to show the full quality, but it's pretty impressive
Here's the hovertank3d monster

Here he is animated walking

And I tried playing around with rise of the triad sprites too. I tried Loreli Ni, and because of the chunky kind of disproportionate nature of her sprite she came out kind of ... curvy. Warning! below is a curvy woman in tight leather pants a tank top and cowboy boots. I am not responsible for what affect viewing this image may have on you. You have been warned.

Consistency and hands/feet are well known problems, but there are others. It's definitely possible to do a whole sprite sheet this way but it requires lots of editing and re-editing and patience. Furthermore as the resolution goes up, the missing frames in the animations tend to become more apparent. There are tools for filling in the missing frames, but these can cause some really weird artifacts. Either way its all really neat stuff and fun to play with.

I am glad to know that, for now, the robot isn't capable of finishing the job, though I can see it is getting closer.
gosh I only just now realized that hovertank 3d and catacomb 3d are separate games. I saw essentially the samedemon in screenshots for both and my mind must have merged them. It seems that Catacomb introduced textures on the walls as well as the ubiquitous first person view attack hand(s).
and apparently the hovertank demon's walk frames 3 and 4 aren't 100% mirrored from 1 and 2 though they are closer than the Jaguar wolfenstein bosses which try and mirror walk frames.
So since I just tried my hand at an Doom classic Unamker here's an attempt at a doom classic dual bladed chainsaw from doom 64.
I'm sure someone's already done a better one, but I haven't seen it.
