Drivable objects in doom? Not possible, not even in zdoom if I know that. If that were possible then well hell I wouln't know. I doubt it, doom is not 3d techically so there for there is not way a 3d model of a car or whatever can be driven inside the game.Whoo wrote:Is it possible to make vehicles you can get in out of, and drive?

Yes, it would actually be possible for us to allow the player to exit their sub through the trapdoor, then enter the other sub and slit some throats. The code for this isn't finished yet, but a ton of explosions will occur inside the sub, an alarm will sound, the lights will turn red and fade to black, and then the players' views will be switched to the viewpoint of a camera spawned outside of the sub so that they can watch it sinking. While they're watching it sink, the sub's interior will be reset to its non-destroyed state and a new sub will be spawned. Yes, if the sub dies, flashing red lights dizzify and sirens blare.
