I wish I would have found this mod years ago. It's just pure addiction. I don't recommend this with doomrl-monsters unless you are a true badass. May have a slight incompatibility with neenerweiner's companions (sorry if my spelling is bad). After turning legendary they just target me. Still a lot of fun though.

I have a couple of bugs to report - I mentioned before in the DRLA thread:
-When a monster goes Legendary, other monsters can no longer target it for infighting...but monsters already targeting it prior to going Legendary do not have their targeting cleared, and will continue to attack until something else draws their agro. Combined with the fact Legendary monsters do not infight themselves, this often leads to their attackers killing them slowly, but with impunity.

-Legendary monsters are given +JUMPDOWN, but Legendary bosses aren't.

Huh? You mean the mirror download links? Well yeah, they're safe. Antivirus is not detecting any sus stuff in 'em so just don't worry.

And i've apparently found out that 2 download links, both legendoom rifles and legendoom babel monster patch on the first page are down.

I don't think this works with monster packs anymore, I originally thought it was just colorful hell it wasn't working with but now it's not working with any monster pack on my end.

Anyone else getting this issue? Or did I just royally screw up my settings?

Are you loading them with LegenDoomLite or regular LegenDoom? You probably want Lite, if you're running it with a monster pack, unless the monster pack is specifically written with the full LegenDoom in mind.

Can't remember off the top of my head how you have to setup your load order, but you can definitely run full LegenDoom with Colorful Hell, the monster specific upgrades just won't work. There is a toggle in the LegenDoom menu to disable those. If it doesn't work with one of them loaded first, try it the other way around. Should be the same with almost any monster replacer.

Edit: Was finally able to test, works fine for me. Load LegenDoom first, Colorful Hell/Monster replacer second. Tested with GZDoom 4.10.0, LegenDoom 2.8.3, and Colorful Hell 1.0.

LegenDoom Lite updated, mainly for mod compat support.
Samsara Monster Mixer shooooooould hopefully "just work" with this now.
There's also a menu option that allows you to manually set a delay to the legendary scripts, so you can make it wait till whatever monster mod you're running has spawned anything, without needing to wait on my lazy ass to make a compat update for it.

The Lite version crashes to desktop in GZDoom 4.12.1 the moment an enemy turns legendary.

For extra context, this didn't happen in GZDoom 4.10.0, which was the previous build I had. I updated my Legendoom Lite from 4.1 to 4.2, but that wasn't the issue. I loaded only Legendoom Lite with no other mods whatsoever and reproduced the crash. It's very likely some internal change in GZDoom, but I thought I'll let others know. Great mod, though!

Can anyone share Lite version 4.1? The Doom RPG Rebalance fork will not allow 4.2 for whatever reason.

Just change the link url from https://crantime.org/content/downloads/ ... te_4.2.pk3 to https://crantime.org/content/downloads/ ... te_4.1.pk3 in the interim?

LegenDoom 3.0 is out, completely overhauling items internally, adding synergies and fixing a buncha stuff. Have fun!

Edit: the trigger that sometimes makes weapons impossible to drop is when selecting certain upgrades upon a weapon's "level up" menu, a GunsBonsai feature. Maybe this is the wrong place to ask for help then? I dunno what to do.

Hey thanks for making this mod. It's really fun, which makes my problem all the more frustrating. I'm using GZDoom 4.12.2 with GunsBonsai v0.10.6 and Corruption Cards v6.2. Sometimes I'll randomly be permanently stuck with a weapon because it becomes impossible to drop. I don't know if there's any console command to force the player to drop a weapon or any other way to circumvent this. I think this is a bug, so is there any possible workarounds? Thanks.

It's the Rapid Fire upgrade. I have a fix for it in my GunBonsai addons post. I'll find a link for it as soon as I get a moment.
