This is probably a silly question,but is this compatible with monster replacers? i am probably reading the first post wrong but it only says megawads (AKA:map packs) unless i got the meaning wrong

you can just try it. some work. just load it after space cats.
and its not only compatible with megawads, addons like maps or dashs and such too. just experiment

The new Update with a new Class - "Beast Queen Sill" and an all new Episode "Queens Gambit" will be released in December. 9 New Weapons, 5 new Maps which end the Space Cats Story and alot of new Sprites and QoL Improvements all around the board.

I finished playing twice through the 3 new maps for Battle for Tangraan, gotta say I absolutely love the map design, size, colors, textures, and battles. Love how the maps looked and how the changes blended into together. Really fantastic level design that hinted at a backstory for whatever was going on before our characters showed up. Also the "portals" like the one on that last level that opened up an alternate version of the main area was really well done and neat to explore through. Plus the all the fight set ups and traps were a blast to play through. Really amazing work on top of all the new enemies.
Can't wait to see how this finishes!! Also I disagree with people saying weapons were overpowered, I think they are fine, if not even a little weak sometimes, considering the fights you get into sometimes.
Only thing I wonder about is that some new enemies, like from the first episode, never show up again in the later episodes, and others are so rare you maybe see them a couple times only in a play through. Would love to see the first episode and rarer monsters show up a little more.

yes this finishes SCS. not gonna add more to this for now. but will still update it with some new content. (a new secret map and new companions)
was fun learning to make stuff in gzdoom. and i would like to make something else with it.
SCS took 2 years for me to make. it tanked my motivation a little bit as i didnt had much feedback on this project over the 2 years. (but im grateful for everyone who did comment/helped )

Seriously?! Has anyone noticed such a cool project?! Come on! This is one of the best projects for DOOM that I had a chance to play in 2022.
I even devoted a review to your project and have now passed a new campaign. (https://doomguy.ru/community/topic/spac ... -v-scythe/)
Opinion about "Queen's Gambit": The episode is good and interesting, although with red tones it's a bit too much. I liked the new Character, but... * Hysterical Laughter * Sorry, but to replace the Supershotgun with BOOM-FISTS?! Have you seen enough JOJO?! No, they're normal! But when beating Arch-Viles, you just want to shout "ORAORAORAORA!!!"

the boomstick idea came from some PSone game (cant remember the name right now) where the main girl had tonfa to fight and shoot. that "oraora" idea is actually in sills berserk attacks
some insight/answers (had to auto translate; sry if anything is lost in translation)
-the rocket launchers still have their old code. thats make them wacky from time to time. gonna fix this
-that dancing catmaid is kirie natsuyuko (aka doom catto). shes a doom streamer and supported my project all the time. there are several easter eggs of her.
-the music from chapter 1 shouldnt play anymore in other wads (update 2.8)
-the brutal doom origins were just for the gore. i changed that after i discovered NashGore. then made alot of new death sprites for everything (was still new to doom modding)
question about revenants with hair?
-they were all black in some unreleased versions but were to hard to spot sometimes so i gave them their body back. they are actually female and i call them banshee as they "send haunting screams" after you. no more rockets. gave them hair to make them stand out more (they use new sounds and such). they get better sprite work in the future.
i will update this project up until Version 3.0. thats when i consider it "done". still want to add and fix alot of stuff. but i didnt had much feedback so it was hard to spot the areas to fix. there will be more lore and background coming and some info on its origin "Starborn". working on some new companions too. i still have two classes i would like to add (trainee eoh and general m´aara) but thats a no go for me as it would eat too much time currently.
