Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Wow, I suspected those, and was amazed with pump action reload details, but I never thought that somebody would bother to do such details for every gun, huge props!
Ihavequestions wrote:Guys, can you tell me where that fifth bomb came from I ended up with last time?
Spoiler:
Kyle was behind bars, so it couldn't have been his bomb, right?
On my third playthrough of the Badlands part, I now have a fifth bomb again, but this time, it is definitely Kyle's because I sold him the two spores, and picked up the bomb from him, and didn't tell on him at the Sheriff's. (Next time, I will sell him one spore and one to Garavito. Curious for the outcome of that.)
Could it be that, the time before (on my second playthrough), I got the bomb from Garavito in order to carry out some attack on the Baron?
Seriously, this stuff gets more confusing the more often I play it.
Spoiler:
both garavito and Kyle with give you a separate bomb. I'm making sure this doesn't happen in the next update, but both are used for the same purpose - blowing a hole into Uptown if you are following either of their storylines.
Weapons pack V2.0
Please see above and on main page the return of the Ashes standalone weapons pack, compatible with most monsters mods and any vanilla mapset.
Wondering how you're going to be upgrading your guns in hell? Worry no more! Blurspheres have been thrown in the trash and replaced with mod kits! Just selected the mod kit in your inventory while holding a desired weapon, and press 'use item'. The kit will be consumed and your weapon will be upgraded in the field! (please note - one use per kit, weapons can only be upgraded twice, cannot be used for crowbar, bootknife or pipebombs).
As an added bonus, the upcoming Jackhammer upgrade path has been thrown into this pack. Enjoy killing pinkies with a weapon they were never designed for!

Oh I am enjoying way more than just that I decided to try this out with Lorenz0's map pack Alienated, and it's absolutely hilarious! I just can't stop laughing.
The thing regarding Porcelin works for the Guard captain as well. But he doesn't suddenly resurrect himself if you progress the conversation.
You ofc get attacked by random guards in the nearby area. But even if i die the conversation keeps going until i've exhausted the dialogue with him or choose to leave. https://i.imgur.com/ivDxcMQ.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/UY3ly3a.png
PS
Spoiler:
The hell does the Titan Stim even do. I tried using it in the final fight i had with Mutant B yesterday but only got an LSD effect from it and after a while it damaged me. Should be more clear on what it exactly does. Also i think that the Guard Captain should call the Scav out when arriving at the station for the first time in the mod. As i honestly thought i was an ambush the first time i played the mod and just started blasting away. Oh by the way nice touch with the extra dialogue if you managed to avoid the spotlight in the tunnels and not alerting any of the bandits with gunfire etc.

Spoiler:
I'm doing a playthrough where i'm going to screw it up for everyone else in the Wasteland and i was wondering what is the optimal way of screwing over both the Roamers and the Town of Prosperity?

Spoiler:
Try this:
Make friends with the Baron so you get the four bombs.
Then make friends with Kyle so you get the bomb from him.
Then go to the junkyard, clear the mutants from the bunker, then talk to the Roamers. Garavito will grant you access to the junkyard.
Install the bombs, and leave for the blue exit leading to the tunnels (you may challenge Hauer at this point, if you like; otherwise, you will have to fight him later).
Then you bomb the wall to Uptown, kill the two guards, and take the exit.
After that, you kill everyone in Uptown. At this point, you can decide whether to go straight to Prosperity to kill everyone there or return to the junkyard to fight the Roamers and take your bike to head straight north, not visiting Prosperity again.
In on the second hub, Prosperity. I have two combat levels available, the sewers level (Pipeworks) and the junkyard.
In the junkyard, I cleared up a small area separate from the rest of the level, with crates and mutants, but I couldn't find anything interesting there. https://i.imgur.com/06mYrcl.png
On the other hand, I cannot find how to enter the proper junkyard. https://i.imgur.com/mbDwGie.jpeg
That's the main entrance, but the switch doesn't do anything.
In the Pipeworks level, I found an entrance that needs a better mask (chlorine contamination), and a location with three water storage column, where the protag says 'oh, this has to be the water storage of the city'. But nothing to interact. https://i.imgur.com/dISHd2D.jpeg

If you weren't so trigger happy you could've talked to the shotgun guy on right side of the gate that stands beside a Bug dog. And you could've gotten a quest from him if you choosed the dialogue options that you are a Scav. And that you want to join up.
The quest that he give you involves clearing out the box area connected to the bunker. After killing all the mutants there you report back to him and he opens the gate for you and directs you to a special someone. But seeing as you're past that point now you have to to take another way into the junkyard. And that path is located deep within the Pipeworks.
I won't tell you exactly where you need to go as that would ruin the overall experience. I'll just tell you that you do not use the elevator to get where you need to go.
And if you're confused use the auto in order to see where you haven't gone yet. If you want to get into the sealed room you gotta get your ass over to the Nuclear Plant. which is located at the dead end on a road on the overworld.
You know if you've found the right place if you're meet by a closed gate that blocks the road to the Plant. But don't you worry all you gotta do is located the nearby pipe like object and jump into it. Down there you'll find an exit grid that takes you to the Plant.
First thing you gotta know about the Plant is that it's rather confusing in which way you gotta go. But i'll give you a hint. In order to progress into more important parts of the Plant you've gotta find a way to turn on the power. The power switch is located somewhere high up but if you explore around the area you've ought to find it.
After you switch that on you can progress further into the Plant but don't let your guard down just yet the Old Nuclear Plant has some dangerous foes waiting for you further inside. Just know that the suit is located at the very end of the Plant in some kind of Silo like area. Once you get that suit you can get into the sealed room in the Pipeworks. Also the three water storage thingies are related to a quest but you cannot do anything with that unless you progress down a certain questline

I'm pretty sure you can still get access that way after killing the mutants prior to talking to the guy - that's what I did and it worked.

Perhaps you failed to notice that that fella had posted a screenshot of him infront of the gate with clearly deceased Bandits.
Sorry to burst your bubble but this is about them not you.
I was wondering about something. When you shoot the 9mm autoloader it ejects the empty bullet casings and you can hear the little noise when the casing hits the floor. The problem is this sound has started to become annoying and distracting to me. It's too loud and jarring for my ears. Is there a way to disable this particular sound somehow? The same sound for the original ashes 2063 was far less intrusive to the ears.
Ok during my Playthrough this time around i chose to leave Jack Miller to handle the Bandits for himself without helping him out. Turns out that he rewards me the same amount scrap you get from helping him out when he arrives in Prosperity. This is honestly silly and shouldn't be a thing. He should honestly scold you off or threaten to kill you or something for leaving him behind to fend for himself. Or appear severely injured and unconscious in the infirmary.
And when the Downtown area is under attacked the Sheriff turns into a Michonne Circle guard. https://i.imgur.com/ARc8Kcj.png
Spoiler:
Some Prosperity guards turns into Circle guards when being attacked or when attacking you. I tried getting a screenshot of this but when it's only a frame it's rather difficult so alas no screenshot.
