Hmm, you may be right. It's odd, because i never noticed it before in Smooth Doom.

Yeah, I think it's a side-effect of the smoothing; when you smooth out the rest of the animation, it draws more attention to those pauses.

I think it'd be really nice if you added in the smooth doom options the ability to turn the Doom Alpha muzzleflashes on/off

Doom Alpha 0.3 intrigued me with its slight weapon sway animation even when player is immobile. Could some sort of this implemented into Smooth Doom? It could be argued that it "smoothifies" game by giving more animations and illusion of player breathing. :)

Is there any chance of adding doom 64 monsters as alternates or some such? The guns are nice.

Demon still lacks new smooth idle animation, so have you considered using one from Faspons? I think it would fit nicely. ;)

I acutally got the sprites from Smooth Doom  Just happens that the decorate code in Smooth Doom for the Pinky has SARG as the sprite instead of SSRG M and SSRG N

I'm not sure what you're actually wanting; Smooth Doom works fine in GZDoom already.

Is it possible to disable this mods version of the HUD? I like using UDV which is why I ask.

The surest way is to delete or rename the SBARINFO file in Smooth Doom's root folder. There are also some popular huds with SD compatibility patches if you don't want to mess with your file.

I just tested SD with UDV and it works without issues for me. If I recall correctly, the only thing SD modifies about HUD is mugshot.

Could you give me a load order for ZDL? Every combination I tried either disables the smooth doom at least on the player's side or the mugshot in the default HUD flashes green sometimes.
EDIT: NEVERMIND figured it out.

Smooth Doom is amazing! Just played it for the first time earlier, recommended in another topic. It improves everything with no drawbacks, that's quite impressive.

One idea/thought, would be awesome if dual pistols were an alternate option for the zombieman rifle. Since the zombieman rifle is a faster firing version of the pistol, reskinning that function to be akimbo Doom pistols would aesthetically be amazing. And it would be ultra badass to have two pistols. Though I dig how the mod in general leaves gameplay as is. Are there any little mods like that for Smooth Doom?
