I suppose I should plonk some screenshots of what I'm working on down...
It's meant to be the start of an 8 (or maybe 9)-level episode, which is really me trying to learn the ropes of ZDoom and associated thingies. It's set in an Earth (despite the Phobos skybox!) base which has secretly long been held by forces from Hell, and as the ever-present Doomguy it's your job to go in there and find out the truth behind the conspiracies.
Most of the episode will have an E3 feel (except at least E1M1, which is meant to represent the surface level of the base and has a mostly E1 feel).
E1M1 - Surface
Most of this map is going to be built around a central structure which houses a lift into E1M2. Right now there are only two sub-rooms, one of which being the starting courtyard in the screenshot.
E1M2 - Torture Chambers
My first map for Doom
ever, this is a much busier map than M1, though it's quite small and tight (albeit linear), with emphasis on corridors. There is one rather monster-y room, though.
(The grille texture in the switch wall is my own - as you can see it needs a lot of work before it looks half-decent!)
E1M3 - Great Corridor, South
All that exists of this map at the moment is the room in the screenshot. I'm going to try and put some detail into this room =P
My current plans for this map involve it being centred around one long corridor with barriers that require venturing into side-rooms and sub-corridors to open.

(I've got someone watching my back as far as UV is concerned, though, and he usually has a load of things go wrong on him because I'm so careless with flags ;_;)
