Haha awesome, the file size dropped from 36 mb down to just 5.6 so, yea i think i'll be having 16 directional sprites for my enemies, it definitely adds more i guess realism is the word, the transition from one angle to another is much less noticable, and with SpriTool (see: self programmed auto sprite renamer.) importing 16 angles is just as easy as 1 angle.

Yea, that's what i've been planning on, its complex though so i have to write up a small tutorial like thing that you can access with F1. It's definitely helped me thats for sure. I'll work on that right now, finalize a few things then release it in a new thread i think.

Okay, the program is released along with a hefty rtf file explaining all the features and how to use it.

There it is in case you cant find it in the projects forum very easily.

Will there be maps from various Quake 2 versions or custom maps from other authors?

I'll be using custom maps made with gzdoom special features, dynamic lighting, designs based on the maps used in quake 2, but obviously not exact replicas. They'll be made by me and any other mappers who are interested in the project. :)

Well when it comes time to do the maps i could definitely use a hand. That wont be for a while though, but i'll definitely be watching youre progress.

Also, a new video has been released of the Enforcer in it's final state -crouching. You can check it out at the first post, and here:

I love how you actually created multiple angles for the death animation - and how you have them do the high-and-mighty walk when patrolling. Awesome work.

Hah, very nice! :)

Keep in mind that the Enforcers should never be attacking each other, you can use custom damage types on the monster's bulletpuff to prevent them infighting

ah, alright thanks for that tip. one other thing, they are really like 98% complete, i have to add the bullet spray to one of the death animations, and i can't get morphing to work on my own, and i've posted a question in the editing forum that keeps getting ignored completely so at this rate, most of my enemies will never be 100% complete.

This looks very promising, I look forward to playing this.

If you need inspiration, or decorate code, or other not-copyrighted materials... Feel free to pull from this mod I made, but never finished.
