Anyone minds if I still take the results into the Realm667 Beastiary? The whole purpose of the Beastiary is to have one place for every quality monster, so that'd make sense.

Many monsters meant for Doom work just as well in Heretic/Hexen, or actually even better than in Doom (Imp Warlord, Hell Warrior), so I don't see a real point in separating them.

Yep, I am. I finished up the Butcher and sent it to Rolls, yesterday.
Anywho, it's probably better that they're in the same place, as someone could pick through and get whatever monsters he'd like for his Hexen project (Someone with enough ACS skill to mod Hexen has enough sense not to slap in Arachnotrons and Blood Demons). Like Gez said, there are plenty of Doom monsters that fit as well in Heretic and Hexen, like the Hell Warrior, Satyr, Shadow, heck even the normal Imp and Pinky would fit well.

I do.Me and Rolls are still working on the Horned Beast.
Rolls converts horned beast to sprite and I do the decorate job.
I will PM the monster to you when it's done.

It's all fine and dandy, but there's only one problem I have when getting monsters off the bestiary: they're in the DooM palette! So for use in Heretic and HeXen, I have to take out ALL of their sprites, open up each file in photoshop, convert their colors to RGB, use the backround eraser tool to get rid of the cyan, than after I put them back in XWE as a .png and re-align each thing! It's time consuming but at this point most of the work is done anyway, so....

BagHeadSpidey made a tool (search the projects forum for DoomPicDump. It really should be stickied in the Editing forum, somewhere) that makes that process a lot easier.

Lol, it couldn't be simpler, open the wad using SlumpEd, highlight all the sprites, right click and convert to PNG, it will even keep the backgrounds, perfect

No need to extract anything or mess with any graphics programs

Easier than my solution, and definately would've saved even ME some time.

Submit your monsters as PNG wads and everything is okay
