I would prefer Zdoom rather than GZdoom.

GZDoom naturally because of the GL stuff and more and more wads are starting to use GL features.

GZDooM. More FPS, more control.. and I set the filtering to none (mipmap) to replicate the old DooM feel and have Dynamic Lighting.

I'm definitely a GZdoom user. I haven't touched Zdoom ever since it started to crash out on my Athlon machine a few years back. XD PLus, Gzdoom's 3D floors is immensely useful, IMO.

I've never used ZDoom, only GZDoom. (I used JDoom beforehand).

I don't think Graf is a jerk. I like to think of him as being to-the-point and decisive. I also like to think of him as looking like this:

I used to use Zdoom with Gzdoom only when I needed it, but I've since just moved to Gzdoom with GL turned off. GL is nice and all, but I prefer the software renderer.

Hmm.. for some reason I thought Graf Zahl translated roughly as "Count (as in royalty) Number," although google translate does not seem to confirm this. Maybe I'm wrong

Re "Graf Zahl" being translated as the Number Count: Indeed that is the name of the Muppet in Germany. Why Graf uses this name is beyond me... but at least "Zahl" looks close enough to "Zuul", so the Ghostbusters thing works great for him.
