Still porting over craploads of files over from my two other machines. I just learned that this laptop seriously kicks the shit out of my two other systems, being able to max out titles like Deus Ex: Human Revolution and EVE Online. Been downloading Fallout: New Vegas and the first 3 DLC I purchased awhile ago onto it now, and while doing that I've been trying to figure out... what else did I leave behind?

What happens when you hit a wall in a S turn in Need for Speed?

Underground/MW/Carbon/Undercover: You shrug it off and keep going.
PS/Shift: You ram into the guys that got in front of you and keep going.
HP: You keep going(racer) / Restart because you got a huge penalty (cop)
Shift 2: You are too busy trying to finish the first level on any other position than last on easy to run on a circuit that has a S turn.
The Run: You use a reset.

What happens if you go off-road in Need For Speed?
Underground/MW/Carbon/Undercover/PS: Like you give a damn. Just keep going.
Shift: Try to stop your car from bouncing incontrollably, restart.
The Run: Get a reset forced on you.
Shift 2: Restart, you're gonna lose anyway.
HP: Restart, fucking penalties.

Speaking of LoZ, continuing my Cursed Ring play through with Oracle of Seasons. I forgot how bullshit level 4's boss was. Plus side: Second phase doesn't use the sword on the boss proper, so no damage penalty there.

The minor creatures it spews can no longer be one-hit killed, however...

The Legend of Zelda: Oracles with Cursed Ring playthrough - Finished! The Evil Bacon is fried!

I actually had a much easier time with Onox than I did with Veran. Figure THAT one out.

Use a Hero's Secret from a previous game. Make sure you have the Ring Secret to go with it handy.

Visit Vasu ASAP, get the Cursed Ring, put it on and leave it on. In Seasons you'll have one point where you'll need to re-equip it, (after fighting Blaino for the gloves,) but other than that it stays on.

Challenge for another day: Getting the last 3 Rings on the list. (I actually got the "100th Ring" pretty easily by hitting up the Secret Shop's Pick-a-Chest game.)
