@Ro4dk1ll: Pretty... kinda reminds me of that scene in Quake 4 when the pods crash into the building and all the corridors are set aflame. Nice job!

I haven't played the original HacX yet, so I'll probably have to do that before I can determine whether or not I can do the project any justice.
Also, if it's not zdoom based, then what are the port's capabilities? I can probably cope with vanilla-style stuff, but my port history involves migrating directly from Legacy to GZDoom and, based on the short time I spent working on Skulltag multiplayer maps, 3D floors are hard to quit cold turkey.

I've decided what I'm doing is WIP material now.

10 seconds of gameplay : 20 3D floor tags.
It's going to be a run-down town map with a small amount of scripted sequences.
The house contains a vault that the UAC wants to get at, but the three keycards they need to open it have been stolen by a group of undead mutant alien insurgents. The UAC has taken your dog, "Laddie", hostage. Since the UAC are pretty much bastards, the only way you can save Laddie is by reclaiming the three missing keycards and opening the vault for them. As if you hadn't already gone through enough, what with that whole Mars and Earth Invasion dealie.
Really,I'm just trying to get something completely done and releasable for once.
Something with a gratuitous amount of 3D floors.
edit: And damn, I really need a new tiling desert sand texture.
More edit:
Did some quick and dirty editing and got a texture for the ground that doesn't melt your eyes.
Hopefully I'll be able to actually reverse this later and add it in in a more efficient way
