Try to keep up.=P
EDIT:
I just tried the chex quest patch i liked it, in fact i think it went together a little well also i'll be makin another lizard squad video showin just the chex quest patch if thats ok
If you could somehow make the patch yourself, go ahead. I never intended this to be compatible with Chex Quest or Strife or Heretic or Hexen, but hey, you're more than welcome to add support for that too if you like.Captain J wrote:lol. i just realized about something good idea.

One more thing, does anyone like the new function for the 9mm SMG/Akimbo 9mm SMG or do you guys want the old version back?
Re: Lizard Squad: A cartoony ZDoom mod - Version 2.1 release
I quite like the new function.
I'm also still loving the CQ support.

On paper, I like the idea well enough. But there are too many special considerations required for a HacX patch. The biggest one is probably how the game world is very tall, and would require a higher viewheight for the player, as well as larger sprites.Captain J wrote:lol. i just realized about something good idea.

In theory, it could be done (I've done it for other projects), but I'm not planning to do it for this one.
Sounds like you haven't updated ZDoom in a while. Might want to do that. (Also, sorry I didn't get around to replying to this matter sooner.)Captain J wrote:oh, and +RESTRICTABSOLUTELY is doesn't work man.

Actually addicting!
Loving the pistol more than the actual guns though, ha.

To be honest, I really wish the firing sound for the Silenced MP would be changed. It just doesn't really sound right.

I like it. :/
Did you like the previous version (IIRC, the old sound was the silenced M4 from Counterstrike.) or do you have something different in mind?

You liked Lizard War? Hehe, man, that and ICD-Lizard were awful. Terrible animations and graphics. The Evil General with the Bazooka (aka Morden Lizard) was supposed to make a comeback as the pilot for the Metal Slug tank in this mod, but I decided against it.

Re: Lizard Squad: A cartoony ZDoom mod - Version 2.1 release
There MIGHT be one more vehicle in the next release, but it won't be officially in the mod. As far as new weapons goes, no.
Re: Lizard Squad: A cartoony ZDoom mod - Version 2.1 release
I don't remember it ever having a different sound. But I'll see if I can find something you might be able to consider. You know, just something a bit more fitting for my taste. If you like the current sound though, that's fine. I can always manage to make my own custom version.lizardcommando wrote:Did you like the previous version (IIRC, the old sound was the silenced M4 from Counterstrike.) or do you have something different in mind?

Ok, so there was actually ANOTHER silenced machine pistol sound I used from one of the early versions of the mod:
Cool video and all, but is a 50 second intro really necessary? :/armymen12002003 wrote:Ok here is the video i also added the download link to the video description so users on youtube won't be asking stupid questions
