Doom 64 Stuff (Update. 10/1/2010)

Re: Doom 64 Stuff
Interestingly, I tried that a while back. Posted a patch in the WIP thread, but shortly thereafter lost interest due to some bugginess that I didn't feel like dealing with. (Also, I added it to GAMEINFO because I wasn't sure how stable dynamic TICRATE could be made.)Gez wrote:One thing that's needed is to turn TICRATE from a constant into a MAPINFO->GameInfo variable. Because it's 35 for all the classic PC games, but it's 30 for Doom 64.

Update released. First post has the details as always.
Re: Doom 64 Stuff (Updated! 8/24/2010)
New version has the following error in GZDoom
Script Error "D64StuffGZ.PK3:decorate/monsters.txt" line 139:
Unexpected Character: (ASCII 92)

Re: Doom 64 Stuff (Updated! 8/24/2010)
Is the texture pack just for people to create their own levels? I presumed it would replace the 'standard' textures in Doom (II) but when I drag and drop it onto my GZDoom icon it doesn't seem to replace anything...
Re: Doom 64 Stuff (Updated! 8/24/2010)
Correct. Just for people to make their own levels. There aren't any one-on-one replacements of the same size from the Doom 64 textures.Pedro Lambrini wrote:Is the texture pack just for people to create their own levels? ^
Is it possible to make replacements or is that just too time consuming?

Too time consuming and it would look really, really awkward anyways.Pedro Lambrini wrote:^

Yea.
Been tested and yes, it does indeed work with Skulltag.
