To those people who are zdoom fanatics who constantly say the newest version is best and all that crap:
Allow me to define something for you. it's something called OPINION. it's how YOU think of something. it is NOT a FACT. stop trying to convince everyone else your word is God All-mighty and that everything you do is right. Newsflash folks of this sort; you're not god and you're not always right. especially when you're discussing things such as opinions. Another newsflash; what you may like others will not. But according to your logic, if they don't like what you do, they're wrong. Bullshit. They have a right to not like something you do and like something you don't. So stop the crap already and just accept other's tastes. Stop trying to get them to be clones of you. You're not god. get over it. On other things people of this type have ranted about; just because Vanilla is older doesn't mean it's worse. There are some things about vanilla that others do like. So if people are using an older version, let them. They're happy with that version and don't see a need to upgrade. let them be happy with what they got. Stop trying to shove your new version crap down their throat and badmouth the old because it's 'old'. newsflash yet again; while zdoom does add bells and whistles to doom, it's still just bells and whistles. not everybody wants all of them. some like just 100% normal vanilla doom without the fancy bells and whistles. Also to mention, your comparisons between old versions and old TVs is just ridiculous. They're completely different things! Old versions have a different feel to them and {somewhat} serve a minorly different purpose than an old TV, which is just old technology compared to the new one. It's a COMPLETELY different case.

to the vanilla fanatics and older versions of zdoom fanatics {less major rant};
allow me to define the term 'opinion' for you guys as well. it's what YOU think of something. it's not a FACT. you've stated countless times that you people prefer vanilla or older versions of zdoom over the newer versions. we get it already. Now how about instead of biting against the new version fanatics like a rabid bulldog, you STFU? you've stated your opinion. You don't need to attack theirs as well. If you've stated your own, you should be done right about there. Just because they're saying something that isn't your opinion, doesn't mean you have to rush to defend yours. You can state your opinion and if they start attacking it, well, why should you give a crap what they think? you should just ignore their attacks and just move on to something else. Common sense. your opinion is your opinion. However with all of your logic; if somebody makes an opinion attacking yours, you must immediately rush to it's defense and cause a pointless argument and also to mention assume that they are wrong. it's their freaking opinion too. Just because their opinion is different from yours and attacking yours, doesn't mean you have to rush to defend yours, respond, or act as if yours was also God all-mighty.

I primarily use 2.0.96x since that is what most the wads i have run under. I would use gzdoom but my graphix card sux (yay! intergrated video from a late 1990s system).

...for ZDaemon. As for anything else, I use 2.0.96x since neither of my current computers support OpenGL 1.2.
