Most do this when 2 or more Rapidfire levels are applied and you attempt to fire in ADS mode, or when trying to fire again in ADS mode. Sometimes it will even refuse to exit ADS mode or switch weapons in this state.
Sounds like the it's probably the same issue that caused problems with DRLA and LegenDoom. Can't promise a timeline, but I'll look into adding fixes for it to the Rapid Fire/Rapid Swing addons as soon as I have some free time.

Figured while I was still here, scavenge lead also doesn't seem to work in those packs, either- it's kind of strange.

Hey there, I was wondering if I could submit a feature request on the XP Bonuses Addon. Would it be possible to include a slider which adds a certain number of bonuses each time you load into a new map? The intent is to pair this with Corruption Cards and to forgo the standard experience system entirely, instead providing level ups at the start of each map.

some of these addons are essential and i have no idea why they werent included in the main mod great job man.

That wouldn't be too difficult to implement. I could probably whip that up this evening, if not by the weekend at the latest.

can i suggest for a fire rate "patch" in gunbonsai the fire rate upgrade makes the weapon fire 0.5 (50%) faster so with 2 levels the weapon fires at x2 speed, what about an option to toggle like 0.1 (10%)

Updated "XP Bonuses" to Version 2.2! Added a slider to grant XP Bonus items each map, as requested. Do note, if you are also using the "Starting Bonus Items" option, BOTH values will be granted at game start.

This is on my list of things to look into, more then once technically. I'm currently working on other projects at the moment, Doom and otherwise, so I can't say when this will happen.

Haven't forgotten you or your requests. As I mentioned above, my focus is elsewhere at the moment.

1. Level yourself up until you get Personal ECM (two should be enough for the VM abort to happen consistently)
2. Give yourself Uzis (give rluzi) and drop them both
3. Give yourself Nanotape (give drlax_nanotape) and use it to cause the VM abort

Thanks for the quick implementation, it works exactly as intended in regular map playthroughs.

This is super low priority and I get if you're not interested in pursuing another one of my requests, but would it be possible for this feature to have awareness of if a map was previously loaded? The use case would be for mapsets that utilize a hub and level persistence. This way you would only get the bonuses on exploration of new maps.

No problem if that's beyond the scope of these patches, I can use the standard XP system instead and just use one of the improved XP scaling options to keep progression from going too fast.

Wouldn't be that hard at all. I actually thought about implementing map checks when I was adding this feature, but decided against it at the time, as I was a bit strapped for time. I'll see if I have time tomorrow to implement map checks.

Hi, I'm not sure if it's an issue with your rapid swing addon or the walpurgis mod, but when I play walpurgis as a druid and upgrade the dagger to 2x speed, every time my falcon attacks somebody the game crashes, since falcon's attack speed also scales from this

Updated "XP Bonuses"! to Version 2.3:
-Added the GZAPHUB map to the blacklist of maps not to process
-Added a toggle to only grant "Map Bonus Items" the first time a map is visited

I would assume it's an issue with Rapid Fire/Rapid Swing. The underlying code has a few issues that cause problems on certain mods. It's likely the same issue as all the other random Rapid X crashes/bugs, and will likely need another exception added to it. I'll add this to my list of things to look into.

hey there,i would like to submit a request:could you make a alternate version of no weapon upgrades in wich each level up is equivalent to a player level?instead of having to level up 6 times until you get it?as it is iplemented right now you simply dont get the weapon upgrades it would be best if instead you got the player upgrades although of course the experience amount would be rebalanced an all but i find it that the no weapon addon does very little outside of the player ignoring upgrades automatically.

You should be able to do this just by changing the settings in GunBonsai. You'd set the number of level up for Player Upgrades to 1, then you can adjust the XP requirements by either changing the per level requirement from 1200, or you could also try using my XP Varients addon that changes the linear leveling to a few alternatives. Not at my computer at the moment, so if none of this works, apologies in advance!
