Those rifles (4 and 5) are especially awesome.

Ouch, this and the 'happy Ice cream zombie' makes me feel that I'm failing at making a scary modEnjay wrote:gerolf wrote:Is that Lindsay Lohan?I can't unsee that now.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I dunno, I've always found Lindsay Lohan pretty scary.

Hm, you don't seem to know the trickier shading styles though. (@Thing)
I sure learned a lot when I did this thing:
from this:
I could probably come up with some examples on how to do that stuff (my favorite's that circular thingy), but it's really trial&error most of it. (You never know when some random decision is going to look good, or bad!)
And it looks like I'll have to tweak this thing into oblivion as I usually do. heh

Deja-vu... xD
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Yeah, and when she did a Marilyn Monroe photo shoot, I had nightmares. I think the sprites look good, but maybe he should make it gory and such.Enjay wrote:I dunno, I've always found Lindsay Lohan pretty scary.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Jokes aside, it's a good enough start. I think the main problem with it is that the arms look all spindly and kind of burned or dipped-in-acid looking whereas the rest of the sprite is reasonably normal.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Yeah, I think the hair looks too normal for it to be a zombie. It should look more rotted all over.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
i like those, they look pretty awesome, not so much like a d3 lost soul, but some other creature, please do more!jazzmaster9 wrote:my failed attempt on making a DooM 3 Styled Lost soul.![]()
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
What I assume are the charging frames (the last two) look the best but their weakness, IMO, is that the Doomguy face just looks too familiar. We all know that it is the status bar mugshot and, as a result, it just looks grafted on to the image. Another face but less familiar would probably work better.
I didn't do these (and I can't remember who did) but there might be something useful here... or maybe the freedoom face?

Holy snap that is pretty. Are there muzzle frames for it?Blox wrote:Modified this shotgun further, so now it has a better glove.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
The only problem with that shotgun is the 2nd frame seems crooked. I also suggest an edited stock, like a more SPAS looking one.
