Explain Your Avatar
Re: Explain Your Avatar
First time posting in this thread, so yeah... I changed my previous 360 tan avatar for the FUA Guy.

From what Ryan told me; if you watch the intro, any form of masculinity you have will be burned and thrown into the depths of hell. The only cure, I hear, is to play Duke Nukem 3D while blaring Lordi in the background.Xaser wrote:Honestly, I'm totally willing to grant that the show is probably pretty good considering who's behind it. Outside of fearing the intro, the show does look nice on a art term. The voice actors seem pretty good too. I haven't seen any of the episodes, I'm just afraid of my older brother walking in with me watching MLP. It's like being caught masturbating. (I can say that, right?)

I'll admit that I've seen a few of the episodes. It's not standard MLP affair. FAR from standard.
Still, for now, I'll stick to who I have. I'm kind of growing out of Sonic again so my interests in thigns like TSAT are waning. Hence why my Rachel model as my avatar's been anthro the past couple months or so.

This. It's indeed a tough barrier to break through.Xaser wrote:Honestly, I'm totally willing to grant that the show is probably pretty good considering who's behind it. My younger brother walked in as I was looking up information on the show on Wikipedia. I humbly suggested "let's see what all the fuss is about", and we watched Part 1 of the pilot just before midnight.
The next morning he came up to me and said "Hey, let me know when you wanna put the next MLP on".
Then 3 days later I'd watched all 26 episodes. He's watched up to about 10 so far. We agree that while society will shun us for our actions, it's a really enjoyable show.

I see something of interest that didn't get 'treated' by me yet, oh nevermind!
It was going to happen sometime anyway.

Hm, is it just me - or did I suddenly develop a deep sense of shadow?
I don't remember being able to focus them very well, until recently. (It's more than welcome though!)

Excuse my slowpoke-ness but I actually don't find Doomhuntress' avatar that disturbing at all really.
