a bit, but in a good way, nothing like point blanking a hell knight with a shotgun while dodging all its plasma attacks :P

then again i AM the opposite of a claustrophobic

found an issue with the current version of my map, here is a new one,

also i would like to know this, is there a BFG in any of the maps?

My map, it automatically clears your inventory and starts you with a Shotgun (12 rounds) and Pistol (only 30 rounds). I have nothing larger than a rocket launcher in mine.

Likewise, :wink: I just loved those 1024 maps, for example.

Is this necassary? (Probably, but I'm just curious. :) ) I suppose it stops people shredding your map up with a plasma gun already... (Now that I think about it, I might do this... :wink: )

im curious because if so i will have to add a script to remove the BFG from the player's inventory in my map, with maps that are small in size like these it would be pointless to have a BFG in my opinion

@Darkfox: You're map is pretty good! I just felt ammo was maybe 4-8 shells too short? I loved how the entrance/exit were performed. [JokeAboutSectors] Now you just need another 5000 Sectors :wink: [/JokeAboutSectors]
Of course, you don't need to, it's fine as it is. :D I'll agree as was said before where it seemed alot larger than it actually is. :)

its only one string, and it is called action beer in game

besides its a great mod that should have a worthy successor

well all of them work except for the last string, some bug with dehacked or something, either case here is the file so it can be put in the PK3 or whatever

Man, I missed two pages of conversation, that's crazy. All the big conversations happen while I'm asleep :P

Anyway, I just finished playing you map PDF, and it was very good. I agree with hnsolo77 in that it feels larger than it actually is. I think the skill level was not too bad but I was able to beat it no problem. I don't think you have to worry too much about that though.

And yeah, PDF's map i think is currently at 'skill 3' difficulty in my opinion at the moment.

Indeed, I just had a run through it and I had no issues with low ammo. However, if you are going to add some more higher up badies, then a couple of shells(4) wouldn't hurt.

About the BFG, there is a spot in my first map that has a spider mastermind, but I did provide enough plasma ammo. Maybe a bit too much? You think I should remove some plasma ammo? Or just leave it as it is.

psh, i get the same feeling after i sleep, speaking of which i seriously need it since it is once again 3AM

josh we have got to stop meeting like this, IE i need to stop staying on the interwebs late at night when i actually can get a connection, the amount ive been online this week is about = too my normal amount per month

ED: I am currently making some tweaks to the map now. Seems there is absolutely nothing with the layout, so I'm making a couple of additions -- and omissions -- or both at the same time (hooray for skill level-variant ACS!) -- and we should be all set.
UV now has chaingunner nests. In lower skill levels, they're empty and they're also closed. A few more monsters have been added even for HMP and ammo balance has been adjusted for the second half of the level.
Also considering bolstering HPs on the Bruiser Brothers on UV.

I'll get to work as soon as I finish this little script fixing. I'm fussy with the delay on a lift... :?
Anyways, I'll be making the next room, which is likely to contain the red key. but first I'm going to make the red key work...
