He should really try to stop being like that. (Thank you for quoting his post, Ed.)

If you give him his Dracula, he'll want a Dracula with nipples next.

No problem, Weasel. I didn't mean to perpetuate any drama by doing it, but rather I felt it was important that it be fully understood why I reacted as I did, especially since he seemed to be trying to sweep his actions under the rug with an edit.

Well the original reason I edited the message was not because I was trying to sweep my actions under the rug but rather because I regretted what I said and I was trying to undue any further damage/drama. Although I just redited the message back to it's original form so people won't find anything suspicious about me.

I was only previously talking about nipples on female monsters that are used appropriately not everysingle enemy/boss. That's all I have to say since I don't want to get off topic here.

Anyway carry on...

I read this post without context and thought it was both the best and worst truism I had heard all month.

Lots of interesting things are underway for Reelism right now! Here's an accurate depiction at what the development process is currently like.

Generally, the idea development process has been:
  • Shout ideas at each other
  • Write down the ones that cause us to spit out whatever we're eating/drinking
  • Whittle the list down for feasibility
  • Kins throws the list out and just kinda does whatever
So there are some quality things coming through.

Point is, not everyone who makes a suggestion/idea/etc happens to be a professional artist.

Well never mind I guess I should have never suggested it.
You don't need to be a professional anything to mod Doom. All you need is enough fingers to make mistakes, and enough braincells to learn from them.

Exactly. We all started off making maps that looks like crap. Some of us prefer the crappy maps. Others prefer highly detailed maps. Just do whatever you like, and surely someone else out there will like it.

You certainly don't need to be any kind of artist to make a map!

So I finally got the chance to give the latest version a proper go last night. I haven't laughed as hard at a Doom mod since the "true form lolz" line in CIF3. Can't wait to see what else you've got cooking. The titlemap alone is genius!

Just one minor nitpick:
Spoiler:
But anyway, I'm off for another round (or ten)!

It's gotten kinda quiet in here lately, huh? :?

Well, I'll admit I got a bit swept up in some other things over the past few weeks. I feel bad about it, but it's clearing up now. In fact, I just now cooked up a couple of fixes for some problems in Reelism; one common but minor, and one rare but kinda heinous. I'll shoot them over to you probably later today, Kins. There's a couple other things I wanted to fiddle with first.

Now, if anyone else has anything they'd like to bring up, be it a bug, complaint, suggestion, or even a wishlist item (as long as it's not overly complex! :P), poke me with it and I might be able to drum up a little something. I'm not the creative innovator Kins is, but I'm quite a workhorse when it comes to a matter of 'how'. So, if something's up, let's hear it; I just might be able to do something about it. :)

This might sound really dumb but I would like to re-propose a reel idea I had.

Cue three page argument on the proper plural of Cacodemon. It will go nicely with the Doomworld thread on its pronunciation. :P
