In Map 22 - Outcast Site there are some untextured walls here in this vent. Linedef Index 12499 and 12501 in Ultimate Doom Builder
Spoiler:
Also on the same map this guy got stuck outside the playable area on Apocalypse difficulty, I'm not sure why.
Spoiler:
This is really one of the best games I've ever played, thanks for creating it for us.

Speaking of secrets, whens the sexy goblin DLC dropping, boys?

Lol, no comment on sexy goblin DLC, LMAO

The secret in the Gap you are referring to is exactly where it would be in the game that the current theater production is based on

Unfair? Obscure? Maybe. I thought it was pretty funny.

Will look at that bit with the dog jump again. It was basically going to be an introduction for a bit I just didn't have time to finish. Hopefully I'll get it done for a future release.

Thank you once again for all the support and patience. Will be dropping stuff over the next few days, and once main releases (ep1 and ep2) are a bit more polished, I want to start releasing Sterilized Editions, weapons packs and monsters packs. Maybe a mutator for those who liked the Battle Rifle a bit more than the Military one. We'll see.

Anyway, back to it I guess. Bye bye byelove love love

Cheesus Chriest what a ride. The Finale was totally worth it and the ending man. I loved it. This is by far the best full TC of this year!

MoodysShuffle wrote:This is just a really, really solid sequel. I'm probably halfway through, I think? Just got to the part where you get to ride the mutant. The writing and worldbuilding continue to be absolutely topnotch, even though I'm a tad disappointed it's continuing the story of the first game instead of doing an entirely new story. In spite of that, that story hasn't cropped up much at all so far and what little has has been really interesting. I'm certainly interested! The combat is super tight, my worries from the demo that it would be cheap have been completely avoided. The new mechanics, and the level design, and the music, it's all super solid. On par with the original.

I question the Enriched release, though. It just doesn't feel like it does enough to warrant its existence. But, do too much and you risk losing something. I think the gameplay alterations carried in from Afterglow don't honestly fit 2063 that much, but it might be a neat alternate playthrough, especially on Apocalypse. I would've at least liked some of the grammar and formatting errors to have been fixed, but...yeah, I dunno what this release is for, other than seemingly remastering DMW a good chunk and providing a less in-depth installation with one single part instead of many parts. Think I'll stick with the many parts, though...

(Speaking of 2063 though, I've been writing a script for potential FMV cutscenes, since I've been thinking about it a lot. I have no expertise in creating 3D cutscenes, I'm only a writer. I might post it when a decent enough draft is done.)

Also, uh...I'm stuck.
Spoiler:
Just uh...thought I'd quote this since it seemingly got buried by a late approval and shoving things into a new page.

With those upcoming patches and stuff will we be able to run the Enriched Edition and Afterglow at the same time? It would be nice to be able to load everything all together

@moodyshuffle - there is a ladder you've missed. Head back to the room you were just in and look north toward the pipe entrances up on the wall. The ladder leading up will help you lower the bridge.

@Cyberneticphantom
Unfortunately they both run off a completely different texture and script set still. I would like to consolidate the two wads at some point into a single continuous story, but that is a task for a later date.

I've managed to lock myself out of progression.
Spoiler:
BTW @Vostyok can I somehow summon a bike with machineguns to resolve this problem of being unable to proceed?

You talking about the vault? If so, click for spoilers.
Spoiler:
If you're just talking about the guardhouse gate, then carry on.

Are you going to upload it to ModDB to have wider reach?

Seem to have run into a bit of a weird bug. I played both sides towards the middle in the second hub. I accepted the final quest from the raiders, and accepted the final quest for the town. I did the main quest for the town, then on leaving the hub was told that I completed the quest for the raiders.

I assume this was not supposed to happen?

Edit: Even stranger, they offer me the upgrade then attack me right afterward. Not sure what was triggered.

Double edit: The ending triggers seemed to log the correct endstates anyway. Would definitely put this up for GOTY. A good year in general. Congrats!

After a few performance hiccups that I sorted with Vostyok's help, I ran into another major ehm... GZDoom moment in The Gap level...
OpenGL, vsync on, 33 fps
OpenGL, vsync on, 33 fps
OpenGL, vsync off, 45 fps
OpenGL, vsync off, 45 fps
Software renderer, 75 fps, monitor vsync cap
Software renderer, 75 fps, monitor vsync cap
Given those circumstances, I found myself forced to switch to Vulkan, even though I've always had issues with Vulkan in GZD. There was always a weird stutter / tearing in the bottom part of the screen, and the movement never felt as smooth as the reported framerate.

After some poking around and trying setting combinations, I found out that in order to both get that 75 vsync framerate AND to get the game to feel smooth and not have the weird bottom-screen tear and stutter, I need to have vsync on but to cap my framerate ingame a step higher than my monitor's max 75. When I upped the ingame fps cap to 90, now Vulkan gives me a constant 75 fps, with absolutely no issues, tearing, visible or palpable stutter.

Just thought I'd leave this here, in case anyone else runs into performance issues at some point.

I'm playing on an i5 3470 3.2/3.6 ghz, 16 gigs of ram and an RX 570 4gb.
