Just curious, are you more into the trading aspect or the fighting aspect of Wind COmmander/Freelancer/etc?

If the latter you should try out Star Wars: TIE Fighter (or any other game in said series except for X'Wing VS TIE Fighter) and the Freespace series. They have the best space combat I ever seen. Outside of the story, I found the rest of the Wing Commander series to be quite bland.
