Feature request!

Extrude. Select the lines you want to extrude, push the extrude button and set distance from the original line and poof, now you have a symmetric copy. Would be soooooo handy.

Sorry, but unless you guys go ahead and implement all those features, they have very low chances of being added in the near future.

I hate having to keep going into my Zandronum_Things cfg file and having to uncomment the Skulltag stuff.
How do I prevent it from changing back? I wanna change it on my terms, not on GZDB's.

How do I put together configs though?
i say - copy a existing one that's similar to the end result you need, apply all the changes you'd like, then keep it with the rest

GZDoom Builder doesn't recolor TEXTURES-based textures that use "translations" to recolor themselves.

Got a couple crashes since updating to R2645. The first one was last night when GZDB froze in Visual Mode, and I had to end the process from the task manager. Got a small window briefly whose window title was "No Error Occurred". Huh.

Second time was a few minutes ago; got a crash report this time. Was in Visual Mode again.

I have a request, in old Doom builder when selecting a mid-texture with transparency - you would select it even if you clicked the transparent region. In GzDoombuilder the behaviour is so that when clicking a visible part you select the midtexture - while clicking where its transparent selects whatever you see behind it - this is excellent most of the time :D
However - when I work on textures with large corners or areas without any visible pixels - and have the mid-texture split over several linedefs I get some problems - sometimes one or more of those smaller linedef parts might end up not showing any visible pixels - and then I cant even select the mid-texture for that linedef anymore - for certain details this becomes quite tricky to work with.

so the request is to be able to toggle on/off the behaviour of selection going through transparent pixels when selecting mid-textures in 3d-view.

MaxED, can you please implement properly closing file descriptors after reloading resources or saving the map?
Concurrent editing of same WAD in GZDB and SLADE is still a problem.

The symptoms are as follows: I open some map with GZDB, then try to save into the file with SLADE, it will say "access denied".
Then I wait for undefined amount of time (apparently until garbage collection iteration in Builder.exe), and the file gets unlocked... until next resource reload or map save D:
It happens to any resource files used in the current map, not just the own map file.

On my previous PC this didn't happen at all, most likely because it had 2.5 times less RAM and it was probably causing CLR to collect garbage more often. Not sure if CLR does that.

MaxED hates settings. Sadly, the picture expired already.
+1 though. I was mapping this and chain textures were a major PIA to set up.

Hm, I have no problems working on and saving my resource inside Slade - even if they are loaded in gzdoombuilder - I keep saving and updating them all the time - then F8 to reload these resources in GZD - never tried to alter the actual current wad I'm working on though.

I think MaxEd simply gets so many requests that he needs to prioritize what seem the most important at the given time - and also at how easy a feature is to implement - and if enough people will need it.
The last part will rise if more people show the need for it :) - Excellent work on the editor MaxEd. :)

Nevermind the concurrent editing part, it seems like it's a bug in recent SLADE (3.1.1.1). Old version 3.0.2 works.
