Those hazmat sprites are top-notch, particularly the yellow one. Arm him with a cattle-prod or something and he'd make a great zobified science team member.

No, he has pose for a gun, not for melee atacks. He must have netgun or clue gun or something like tazer or paralysing gase balloon...

Apropos, is it possible to make a net gun or a clue gun in ZDoom/Skulltag? After getting shot, target cannot move for few seconds.

Just a thought.

As for temporary paralysis, yes, it can be done on other actors using custom damage/pain states (eg the Stunner Rifle in Stronghold). Doing it to the player is sort of possible, but it's very hacky.

I find the blending between the tip of the staff and the beginning of the spear's blade to be a bit wonky, but otherwise it looks damn fine.

Yeah, I tried to get that right, but that's the best I could do right now.

I didn't make the mage hands though. It would be nice if I could do that.

I'm always amused by these Hexen wads that rebalance the player classes by giving ranged attacks to the fighter and melee attacks to the mage. :p

Indeed.

Even Quietus was most effective in the intended target's face.

On the other hand, on map 1 the mage can simply shoot the bell right after opening that door and continue on his merry way, while the fighter and cleric have to go get the silver key, deal with some crushers, and climb the stairs in order to reach the bell.

I think that they might need some kind of heavy duty prod for demons...can't imagine a regular cattle prod doing anything but pissing them off. Maybe give the scientist something that resembles a thunderbolt?

EDIT: Oh yeah, found this while I was digging around.
