Mod is amazing but having to press so many buttons to fire a gun is annoying. I suggest adding a quick fire keybind that pulls out and fires the currently selected gun instead of holding the draw weapon and altfire to fire. I play on mobile and its a pain. But otherwise I have no complaints and you've done an amazing job.

After messing around on E1M1 with this mod, I may have found one issue: when the weapon is drawn out, doomguy's movement speed is slowed to a crawl (walks very slowly). what's up with that?
other than that, this is an awesome mod (even better with +chasecam)

I guess slowing down while aiming and firing is intentional because you have to aim properly. But not so sure about the extremely slow speed... Would be nice if doomguy could roll around while aiming too.

It's been a bit since the last post but this is a very cool mod, i was contemplating utilzing gzdoom for an Earth Defense Force esk third person game, but didn't really know where the engine was at with world third person model stuff. Turns out that it works pretty well! it's certainly clunky in places (partly due to the boi being so big and the levels in og doom being quite cramped), but this is a good proof of concept and def makes me wanna mess around with the idea more.

While chasecam is ideal, i did apprecaite that it has two viewmodes, as yeah you can actually clearly see different ways of doing the third person system and some pros/cons of it. it was actually very educational, thanks again for doing this!
