haha gay anime dick you're so funny fisk

In seriousness, I haven't tried enough of the mod to make a full value judgement, but I think I can say that many of Fisk's complaints are sorta legitimate. They don't bother me that much, though. Will get through the rest of this at some stage and provide an overall opinion on it. :)

They might be legit if they weren't so full of hate. There's plenty of mods out there with a few misaligned textures and "random meaningless detail", but he's had it in for this one since it was announced a year ago.

It looked pretty bad a year ago, too, and since its release a plethora of other glaring issues have become evident.

And the nature of that reply sums it up perfectly...come back when you can post comments and criticise in an unbiased civilised manner.

Only to those who don't like this kind of mod.

Wait... I have a persecution complex? You have told me literally that my legitimate problems with this mapset are "hateful" and only speak for people who "don't like this kind of mod" (which means what, exactly?).

I'm not paranoid about it at all, you're legitimately telling bullshit lies for no reason.

Oh nooo, rectangles.

I'm taking a shot in the dark here, but isn't this mod basically supposed to retain the looks of the original KDitD while utilizing GZDoom's features in a way that fits? I'm not convinced flawless looks were particularly high on the agenda - but they don't always need to be. It's the gameplay that matters, right?

And that would be fine if the gameplay didn't consist of backtracking through meaningless circle-shaped rooms, and if it wasn't as obvious the mod wasn't properly playtested.

I really haven't a clue what this mod is visually trying to accomplish, but I'd argue that it neither "retains the look of the original KDiTD" nor "utilizes GZDoom's features in a way that fits"...

I'm not going to bother explaining it because I know you won't listen, and I'm sure everyone else can see what I've seen about the nature of your comments. (apart from those who don't want to ofc)

I don't think this abrasiveness is really warranted for criticism of a game level, darkhaven.

Darkhaven3, cut it out with attacking the other users. I don't really care what your opinion is, I just wish you would quit being a fucking asshole about it. It's not just in this thread, either - I notice that you can't seem to state your opinion without acting as if everybody reading your post is an idiot.

This is the last time I'm going to say it. Any more complaints about you and you're out of here. It's becoming obvious that you really don't mesh well with this community.

Yeah, you're right. There's no excuse for such a sardonic, insulting review.
