When I first saw the pictures of this map, my jaw literally dropped! and I don't think that's happened since I saw shots of Keksdose's map 20 from stronghold!

Playing through the map itself was a blast. I had some minor lag (which I expected nonetheless), but the map was full of color, detail, realism and it had some clever gameplay. It's amazing to see just how far gzdoom can be pushed!

Love it!!! It almost looks as the Quake 2 Engine, a bit of lag sometimes but i didn't noticed that because i was amazed by all the cool places, the bathroom full with zombies!, the spining uac logo and the biodome!!... OMFG... Good job

Just played through this. It was a nice reimagination of DooM's E2M4, if not a bit too short. I wouldn't mind if it were a bit longer. Still, this was a fantastic level! You really managed to make a realistic environment of that dusty old E2M4 without going overboard and derail too much from the original layout. There are some things that really made this level out, but I also found some things which could have been improved:

I really liked the animation of the water flat, it looked really nifty. On the other hand though, I did'nt like that slippery metallic texture in the room before the last teleporter. It just looked... odd.
The updated DooM props and items looked was really cool looking. However, the health bonuses and armor bonuses sticked out like a sore thumb due to the insane high resolutive look it had. Why did they have to be so high-resolutive? Also, a lot of the new props (broom sticks, test tubes etc.) also stack out a bit due to them also being high-resolutive. It might just be a me-thing, but just so you know I think it looked rather weird. The plants look awesome though.

I like how the lightning is made dynamically rather than using sectors. Looked really awesome. I didn't event really notice that all lightning was made dynamically! The lightning was that convincing. However, why aren't the lights colored? It looked rather weird when i stepped into a room which was entirely red and all the characters and props wasn't colored red even though the room was red all over the place.

The brightmaps was a nice touch to the game. However I noticed that there were only 3 or so buttons at the beginning of in the entire level that had a brightmap and glowing corona attached to it. Was the brightmaps for the switches only something that was thrown in at the last minute and then you forgot to give all switches it?

Finally, someone actually used the Flesh Wizards! Why they have never been used before blows my mind.

The last teleporter was very awesome looking. One of the coolest looking areas I have ever seen in a level.

The last secret before you met the boss was very LULZ. Speaking of the boss, that was pretty much the most dissapointing thing in the game. It was waaaay to easy because you had a fucklot of energy ammo to take him down. Maybe you could add a harder boss instead ov the Overlord? I think there is a lot of boss-like creatures at the Realm 667 Beastiary that is more challenging than the Overlord.

That's pretty much everything I have to say about this mod. It's a really fantastic level. Great gameplay and fantastic layout and design. This level is really a great example of how you can turn a old dusty DooM level into a fantastic reimagination of it. Fantastic original music too. I give it a 9/10.

at first i think this is good but bit birght then i rememberd.. damn U doom3 and doom3 clones.. this is not another doom3 ! this is Doom2 !
what u need is some nice monsters made boy! those realm667 ones rock but i think we can make u some good ones together
