Strife machine gun is nice. I can't decide if it should have been Doomguy hands or Strife hands though.

The modernised peasant needs to get a visit from the fashion police with that bright cyan T-short he's wearing. ;)

I re-handed the Rocket launcher, and made it's rockets work on fuel (they are a little affected by gravity.)
Also, i used neoworm's sprite for the sickle.

How about a shoulder mounted RL in a similar position to that of the one in Duke3D? It'd be interesting to see the Doom RL in that position.

Better it's still pretty "dayglow" though. Mind you, so is the Doom marine. IMO, the boots could do with some attention. By attention, I mean lengthen the trousers/pants so that he is wearing shoes, not "Ye Olde Bootes".

No worries about the RL. I just thought it might be interesting if you felt like doing it.

I think I'd have made them even longer - just above the shoes.

Also, I notice that there is almost no distance between his belt and his crotch so his abdomen looks too small and he has a big "crotch gap" too (ie space between his legs). Not sure how much of that is down to the original Strife sprite and how much is down to the edit.

The belt is at the same place in the strife base.

Here, i made the shoes a little smaller and the belt a little higher (and recolored it).

Yes, you're right (I just looked) but the strife base has a long tunic-like top on so you can't see where his crotch stops.

Actually, I think I'd be tempted to lower the crotch rather than raise the belt because the high belt makes him look like Simon Cowell. ;) I'd take the trouser hem down a bit further too and narrow the space between the legs. Something a bit like this (quick crappy edit)?
