Also I have to ask... how the hell do I get rid of the super ammo, aka the plasma cell packs?

They're taking up inventory space and since use picks up things in a radius, I pick them up and as a result I'm getting weighed down.

they don't take up space and they don't have weight; they don't do anything. I just didn't get around to dummying them out. Your being weighed down by something else. Probably explosives. Maybe medikits. Or your legs are injured; that decreases your carry capacity, making weight penalties pop up sooner.

Could've swore I was being weighed down by them as I went from crush to hobble when I picked them up. Then again I am one of those crazy ass morons that prefers to have a lot of ammo, explosives and medical supplies on me(like 5 rockets, 10 medkits and 20 stims max). I'll go to where I picked up the stuff and drop some things and see if that helps. Thanks!

they spawn a shitload of ammo around them, so that's probably what you picked up.

Yeah, explosives and medical stuff is usually the culprit for me. I've tried to start leaving caches around the maps if they're bigger so I have a safe spot to patch up. Berserk packs in particular tend to sneak up on me and get heavy once I have a few.

Played some more and yep, it was the medical and explosives.

Sucks especially since I like carrying a lot of stuff due to compensating for skill issue that cannot easily be solved by bullet time x and Indestructable.(Also doesnt help I play with Fast Monsters enabled and LEGION to better give that feeling of one mistake and you're cooked)

Still a great mod. Though as a suggestion, maybe ways to further improve carrying capacity? I.E having Cyber/Demon Level and Athletics factor into carrying weight or additional backpacks give additional carry weight?

Additionally a way for Ward and Ofek to get their ammo for their explosive weapons because clearly ammo crates dont give it so they're stuck with one shot for that and then they cant use those weapons anymore without me having to go into the console

Crates DO* give Ofek and Ward Fireball/Bible ammo. I'm also wary of adding more carry weight expansions. Cyber/Demon/Athlete level effecting movement already naturally lessens the impact of the penalties, and the coming version will have the ammo caps, ammo cap expansions and rucksack, so it would be less needed.

*Rocket Box spawns are bugged and don't give Ward Bible ammo, but Rocket spawns do. This has been fixed in the WIP version.

I like this mod. It takes a bit to get used to and definitely more user friendly than Hideous Destructor. I think the one unfortunate IRL flubber opportunity you can incorporate, given the mechanics, is Over pumping the shotgun to eject the live shells, Its fun overpumping the shotgun because it just is, but given that ejecting partial magazines deletes bullets, the same could be done for the shells, but the shells can be recoverable in the same way as dropped shells from enemies.

Unfortunately I feel its bugged because whenever I pick up the rocket boxes, I dont get Bible ammo. Heres hoping it'll be fixed soon.
Also cant wait for the ammo caps and such. Will be nice to have so I'm not lugging around 20+ magazines.

So I intentionally left this out, despite it being recommended to me a few times over the years, even before the first public release. I left it out because I like to fidget and pump guns as I walk around humping walls looking for secrets that's totally what I'm doing, I'm not lost...

Anyway, here's some video showing off the coming ammo caps and rucksack (and adding some non-John footage to the very shallow pool of FOTG videos), and some stuff of the (very soon!) upcoming Update 4 of LEGION. I wasn't really sure which thread to post it in but I decided this one because FOTG is much more prominent here. That said, I don't really when the next FOTG update is coming. While the ammo cap, expansions and rucksack are all very functional, there is still a lot of tweaking to be done, and with more and more polish and QoL stuff being tossed in, too. Like you don't see it here, but Ofek got updated animations on his uzi, hands on his Desert Eagle, and John got updated sprites for his 1911 and a whole new sniper rifle.

Hey there been a hot second. I've been bouncing in and out of hiatus, cancelling mods after putting too much work into them and dealing with some turmoilous life stuff. But I am still plugging away at 0.0.8. Its...getting kinda big. Not only will it include the new ammo caps and a new Rucksack system, it will also feature lots of polish (new animations, new sprites, new SFX, casings, wow), new features (such as med scanner and Pain Response) and some characters are even receiving new weapons.

Anyway, part of the polishing is Im going through each character, one at a time, and ironing out their seams and wrinkles. John, Ofek and Ward have all been through the grinder, and I'm working on Wilhelm and Helga now. Wilhelm, however, is quite the problem child.

I'll be brief: I find his early game really awful and unfun, and I believe it has to do with how underpowered his SMG and Pistol are, so I'm strongly considering changing them. However, the process of doing so is long and tedious and I don't want to jump the shark (more than I have) so I've decided to ask you guys and poll it.

So vote, and let me know your thoughts. Or don't, I dunno I'm not your dad.

Edit: I should summarize what exactly those changes would mean. I generally assume anyone playing this would be at least a little gun savvy but just in case:

P99C to MK23 is better in every single way.
MP7 to UMP45 is less rate of fire and ammo, but much more damage (and less armor pen, for if you play with LEGION).

I chose to change both, but i disagree that they're awful. I just think the proposed changes feel more powerful and more original to the mod.

mmm, yeah "awful" is a little strong for the MP7. It has niche uses and is great at stunlocking, but its also the reason the damage formula was altered to always deal a minimum of 3; there were cases where it could deal 0 damage. It still pales in comparison to the others.

Awful is generous for the P99C, though. There isn't a single reason to use it, ever. He might as well not have a pistol.

Regarding the poll. I like both guns. The only issues I have are the shotguns alignment which seems kinda off as well as the BFG alternative which absolutely doesn't fit. Maybe I have an old variant?
All the other realistic weapons are absolutely fantastic imo
