thanks! they arent perfect but look ok in game. its all kinda moot anyway as you'd only really see them from the back two and possibly side angles if not yet alerted, and the other angles only with notarget on or if they are in you're field of view when you die.

there asre a couple of other examples which are the only other places I can see ethem occuring from the front sides "naturally":

shotgunguy's behind the window in TNT's 'stronghold'
https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/d2af/ ... ophozg.jpg
chaingunners 'in-stasis' in plutonia's 'caged'

i'm sure there are probably more but not many...

(links to pics not pics themselves because of the size (800 pixels too big?))

*edit*
I've since done some idle anims for my 'possessed' monsters, too:

still struggling to make the pinky one look natural...
I'd appreciate some help on that one...

oh, yeah, please feel free to use any of these for any projects folks...

Was going to make a nerf gun mod... didn't get far off the ground after my boys decided to sell their nerf guns hah, so heres the only W.I.P I had sitting around someone may find useful if polished up and refined. I know its terrible... but its not as bad as the preview makes it out to be... as there is no actual black space... just empty space... but im just cleaning out my files and its something not posted yet...

Spoiler:
Seeing them put together in an animation like that exposes quite an oddity: if the animation is meant to look like breathing, then they are moving from a particularly strange (and inconsistent across the angles) position. For example, when the zombieman inhales, not only does his chest rise as you might expect, but so does the top half of his ass.

During breathing, the chest usually moves upwards and outwards slightly as you inhale, and that might also shift the shoulders and maybe the arms a little too, but that's about it. In fact, if it's just resting breathing, it's really only the diaphragm that is moving and the chest doesn't even move much. It would be very strange for the whole upper half of the body (especially from half-way up the ass) to shift up in this way. Of course, zombie physiology could be different. ;) (and, yes, I understand about the limitations of having so few pixels to play with etc.)

I made a version colored more in line with the chainsaw body, I feel like it is an under-utilized colour for doom weapons. Also messed with some additional shading/dithering, unsure how well it works in game
