They look amazing. The Quake II pistol looks perfect - and you have translated it to centred view perfectly.
I have been after a good version of the Quake II shotgun in centred mode for years. I have tried and failed repeatedly to make one - and now here it is. Thank you so much.
[really cheeky mode] The shotgun has quite a big kickback animation in the original game. I don't suppose you fancy tackling that do you - I suspect not give your comment about it being hard to do, but no harm in asking.

so, i guess it's finished now. added an extra frame and cleaned up most of those white pixels on the corner of the sprites. credz to fl016.
Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
For what it's worth, here is part of the series of model rips that I used for one of my own attempts at the QII SSG. Big, beefy, but very flat and uninteresting looking. It was kind of heading in the right direction but I wasn't happy with it or with how much texturing/detailing (which I basically can't do) I would need to do to get it to look good and be reasonably complimentary to other sprites:

Also, the big handle thing in the middle kind of got in the way too much for my tastes. I guess I could have edited it down a bit though.
Maybe I'll try at some point later.

I suppose one could invoke artistic license and turn the huge carry handle into an integrated sight of some sort, a la the M16.Enjay wrote:Also, the big handle thing in the middle kind of got in the way too much for my tastes. I guess I could have edited it down a bit though.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
So finally after a long time I've come up with a design for the BFG that I'm happy with for the Classic 64 idea I had.
Because I forgot it existed, mostly.
