Re: Custom Texture Thread.
I kinda like it, looks more satanic will all that shadow.
Re: Custom Texture Thread.
Hey dudes, some time ago made a cross between Doom64 decoration walls and Classy Doom marble stuff, plus some details for great justice.

Re: Custom Texture Thread.
Those look amazing

Re: Custom Texture Thread.
Yeah, okay. THAT'S AMAZING
Re: Custom Texture Thread.
Yeah, I'd really like to see those in some dedicated megawad. Otherwise they'll be resting online for various people to scavenge them.
Re: Custom Texture Thread.
Well, they are from a megawad I'm working on. And when people scavenge work I've done I feel honoredprintz wrote:Yeah, I'd really like to see those in some dedicated megawad. Otherwise they'll be resting online for various people to scavenge them.

Thanks for the comments guys

Re: Custom Texture Thread.
Wow! Those textures are really impressive. I love them.
[edit] and they got me wondering about that archvile that you did. I think one of the reasons that it looks a bit non-threatening is the "old-man's creased closed mouth". So I got to wondering what it might look like if it was showing some teeth. Unfortunately, "my skill is not enough" but I think that the idea might be OK.

The first variant is mine and, IMO, still looks a bit too friendly. The second is based on one of the mouths from your new textures. I haven't matched it up very well but I think the idea has some merit.

Re: Custom Texture Thread.
NMN_Paul i always loved some the works you did on sprites and textures I know it seems awkward to ask in a thread of this magnitude but i was wondering if i could have permission on experimenting on your textures from the texture packs you made. I think it would be fun to see the results and I'll even put some in the thread as long as i get permission from you of course.

Nothing awkward about it.DefconRazor32 wrote:I know it seems awkward to ask in a thread of this magnitude but i was wondering if i could have permission on experimenting on your textures from the texture packs you made.

Re: Custom Texture Thread.
OK I'll start with two malformations converged with a marble texture and infused with a blue print of yours nmn corp pack 1

they may look the same but there's a definite difference within the hue or color
both used in doom 2 palette
base texture: METHEX2

These remind me of the Alien textures in DN3D, but these are a lot classier - Paul, these are very good IMONMN_Paul wrote:Hey dudes, some time ago made a cross between Doom64 decoration walls and Classy Doom marble stuff, plus some details for great justice.
