Sounds good :)

I was thinking about make the first 32 levels compatible with the "Old school map series", and let further levels available for ZDoom maps. But if it doesn't work, I'll have to make NeoDoom compatible only with ZDoom (something I don't like; I like ports for all Doom mods). Of course it's a bad idea, since the cool new improvements of the ports can't be used, but a ZDoom section surely will be into NeoDoom.

Btw, I'll have to join the DECORATE items from all the mappers into one ZDoom sprite wad. Hope it will be easy.

Yes... but I must put here a rule I used for my ZDoom new objects, and I'd appreciated if you use that:

DoomEdNum > 2049 = new pickups (weapons, inventory, ammo, etc.)
DoomEdNum > 3006 = new monsters

Got it? For make it more organizated...

ok... so

2049-3006 = pickups
3006+ = monsters

is that correct?

The logic is right, but the correct range is 2049 - 3000 because we already have things with ID 3001 to 3006.

I also took a look at your pics; seems to be very advanced for a 30 min map. The underground passage looks very cool :) I also want to make a suggestion: the marks in the street, i think using smaller lines and a texture with a single collor looks better. It's just a suggestion, you can keep it that way if is your wish.
