You know, recently I started using this over XWE. No idea why I didn't beforehand. It's FAR easier to accomplish basic tasks.

One thing I'd like to have is default view sprites in a particular way, for example weapon/hud. Perhaps being able to mass select sprite lumps and view them all in a particular way? So far that's been my only gripe.

And I third it. I too have started to prefer SLumpEd over XWE, for some reason.

Oh oh! And an option to disable pop-up help. It's annoying for those pop-ups to get in the way when I need to look at something else... besides, I know the syntax pretty well anyway.

Not that I make many mistakes (cause i'm awesome :P) but how about an Undo feature? (with ctrl+z too?)

And very minor but you might want to add the shortcut keys next to the toolbar names to show what keys do what.

Undo can kind of be done at the moment with 'restore' which will restore the lump from the saved wadfile.

Anyway I've released v0.6. There aren't many changes, and most of the recent feature requests here aren't in yet (they are on the todo list though :P), basically because there are some major changes I want to make for the next version before I get around to them.

Get 0.6 from the SLumpEd site: http://slumped.mancubus.net

Major plans meaning major internal reworking. I'll release details as I am writing 0.7, I guess.

I should really just create a new thread. Or bug manc to setup a slumped forum for me :P

I would like to see it auto-parse all lumps when a WAD is loaded so that the icons aren't all "?"s. :?

And maybe also a lumptype filter (Other lumps, Textures, Patches, Sounds, Sprites, etc...

"determine_type_load" in slumped.cfg. Yes a configuration dialog is a high priority for 0.7 :P

Ah here's another one i'd love to have but i'm not sure how you'd manage it. When converting to PNG, be able to pick a color for transparency. Often when i've converting doom graphics and bitmaps to png they've been given a white background for some reason.

That's planned for 0.7, as in, to be able to choose how to handle transparency when converting from anything to anything. Of course to do that I pretty much have to rewrite how I handle images, so yeah that's one of the 'major' rewriting tasks to do.
