Personally, I think something like that would have been a great art direction for the next-gen Doom games, although I suppose things have headed that way a bit with the more recent ones.

I have no particular plans to do anything with them. It's just that Hidden Hands' Doctor Who project got me heading down this path.

If Breadbagfly is still working on something for doom community, i'm certain he would cook up some sprites look much like it. I still love his meaty bloody horror designs and i wish he could work on more!

OK, I'll be honest, that model is far to complex and I had to cheat to get it to appear in game. It's from the Doctor Who Adventure Games (same as the red paradigm dalek) and there is a low poly version in the game but it is far too low poly for close-up use (think Quake1 kind of levels of detail). Maybe there is something else out there but, honestly, unless it comes with animations that I can use somehow, animating something like a cyberman isn't going to work out well with my skills.

Haven’t been on here for so long, I forgot my old password. Had to reset it.

I remember when GZDoom was stuck at version 1.8.4 for quite some time, and now it’s making rapid progress. Every time I look on the website, there’s a new version, and that’s impressive.

Also, I ditched my long hair and got a buzz cut, so now I look properly Slavic.

Most definitely. Having only used pro for a long time, I was surprised how many tweak settings were missing when I had to set up a cheap little laptop that came with the home ver. for someone.
