Yes. Even a pic of borger prevents religious debates!
Anyway now i can sleep fine... But it still takes too long and my heart beats like hell when i'm trying to sleep.
And i wonder why...

That has to be the best burger i've seen you can get from a diner. Mcdonalds buns are comparatively gross.

Thank God for the gift of food...
Unification through food!
Taste-wise, I don't mind McDonald's burgers. I just object to all the crap they put into it. But that burger you got there is making my mouth water...
No use in drooling over it, though... it's already eaten. XD
RIP and tear in peace.

Some serious onion rings, too.
)
To be fair, you can blame the wrappers for that. (Mashing the bun down a bit, plus holding in all that hot moisture. Sesame seeds kind of reduce that problem, it seems to me... Probably why the damn things are used.Viscra Maelstrom wrote:Mcdonalds buns are comparatively gross.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Very unusual weather we had today it was only in the 60s and it never made it to 70 degree at all. Its the 1st week of August and its going to start getting cooler, and its the last mouth of summer too. I seems like this year's summer went by too quickly pretty soon its be winter in know time.
But the best fries that I love the most is from Rally's and Checkers.
I always like Culver's butter burgers better with the bacon and stuff on it woo woo too good than McDonald's Big Mac.Captain J wrote:And that's why i'm no fan of McDonald's. Heck, even Mojo freakin' Nixon hates them either.

Haven't had Culver's in a long time. Damn, those are some nice burgers.

Last thing about religion I promise: have either of you considered heading over to TheologyWeb to discuss said evil things further?
I blame the dog. Yeah. For making it so I had to get up at 4am and take him out then having to basically hide in the computer room the rest of the night because I don't want to wake the dog again and risk a potty mess.. also because it's almost time for the family to wake up now. Missing three hours tonight isn't the worst, is it?

I miss too much sleep all the time. For whatever reason, I feel less sluggish whenever I wake up than when I sleep for eight hours or longer...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
playing the original Half-Life in CURRENTYEAR is proving to be a little tricky for me. On steam, you can go buy Half-Life, and Half-Life: Source. I own both since I bought the complete collection a while back since it was on a great sale. Both of them on steam are riddled with annoying bugs.
The original Half-Life is probably the best bet. It supports widescreen resolutions out of the box, but it doesn't automatically expand the FOV unlike HL:Source. This isn't too big a deal though, looking on PCGamingWiki you can adjust it manually. It does have a few annoying bugs I've run into though, such as getting stuck in map geometry (transitions have proven extra painful, since in far too many cases I've gotten stuck on small slopes when transitioning maps) and props going ballistic if you try to pull on them, which isn't a critical error but it does make certain sections kind of annoying.
HL:Source is pretty annoying still. The 2013 updates did seem to fix a few things, like helicopters falling to a crudely aimed hail of 9mm bullets (at least I can't seem to replicate it anymore [EDIT]it turns out they just made it almost impossible to hit apaches by fucking up their bounding box), but they also added even more pleasant bugs, such as my favorite: barnacle tongues no longer dangle right when you first see them, unless you then leave until the barnacles have left the PVS, and then come back. And then there's just the fact that they did some really weird things to the game, like adding kind of ugly cubemaps onto shiny materials and throwing the hideous cheapwater in a lot of places in place of the old water textures, and revising a single "puzzle" in the game to use source physics and hl2 barrel props for whatever reason. There's still a bunch of gameplay changes also, like the crowbar seeming to do much more damage than it should (it knocks out headcrabs in one hit, I remember in the original it took a few swings to kill them)
At the end of the day, both of them are playable I guess, but these bugs are really annoying. I'm honestly kind of tempted to dig out my original HL CD and try the old patches, and see if that's any better. I honestly have no clue, I haven't played the original CD version in over a decade.

Yeah I also bought HL on Steam recently and was disappointed to see a lot of unnecessary changes and removals. One of these days I need to track down the original Half-Life from 98 or whatever (YES, the one that came with the Sierra Installer that would DELETE THE ENTIRE DIRECTORY HIERARCHY of wherever you installed the game to, if you tried to uninstall it).

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Can we have power back at the house? Pretty please? I mean (Gordon Ramsay) this place is just the (Gordon Ramsay) worst when it comes to power stability.
Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I screwed up my game of Half-Life long ago.
