Yeah, I think it'd help add to the variety a little bit. A lot of mods use zombies and imps to get the highest amount of enemy variety, and I think the tougher monsters are great as is in SUAB.

The only issue is that the only good set of zombie sprites I've seen are used in Zombie Torrent 2, and implementing the Remnant in other slot would pose a balance issue (especially in lower enemy slots, since the thing has 250+hp I believe).

Is the remnant the dead marine zombie? I meant just plain skin zombies that could spawn in place of corpses and such, but I also haven't seen any good basic zombie sprites around, particularly for a generic nude zombie. Most of the zombies are in the vein of Doom's where they're more freshly revived with devil magic and not the rotten week old dead kind.

since the remnant originally only showed up in the secret levels of doom 2 its actually not meant to be in normal levels. all the actual monsters are pure.demons by thematic choice, they don't even have cybernetics or mechanical attachments

Which is why I'd probably find another set of sprites, so they'd match the Demon sorta theme.

and i was playing so far, i got some gripes to talk about;

- when the crossbow bolts hits the enemies they still plays hard stuff hitting sound instead of flesh hit one, and i'm sure it's going to be an easy fix if you agree.

- L1 grenade launcher fires 4 projectiles per 1 round, right? but when it's fired while ammo is all depleted except the grenade launcher, it only fires 1. intentional?

- winchester model 700 and crossbow doesn't play raise sound unlike the others, eyup. i really can't definitely hear it. intentional, too?

1.) It is an easy fix, but I don't really have a sound that would work for it.

2.) Fixed

3.) The rifle was an accident, the Crossbow was not (Since it's a silent weapon, it amused me for some reason to make it silent when you raised it.)

Yeah, you could still leave them to fill the same roles as the imps, etc by being melee only. It'd be neat if you could make them mostly spawn in as corpses or something, so rooms really get filled with them and then a bunch of them rise up to attack.

Well of course. Uncortunately I would have to redo the prop spawners to make that happen. Which is something I'll do but not until other things are done.

Speaking of other things. I hope you fuckers are happy now. ( Kidding, of course, I"m not that much of a bastard..)

well...why not putting the basic flesh hitting sound for that one? it really fits in my ears.

anyway i always wondered, why if knife hits the enemies it plays flesh hit sound instead of slash one that it's exist? not the pipe one though, it fits it right.

It plays flesh hit because of the gore effects. I'll get to it when I get back to tinkering on it, don't worry about it.

I think it's on ModDB. I wasn't able to get it running, but it might need some of those old Skulltag files or something.

idk if its anything, but originally i did want to do the crossbow shooting one bolt but much faster

like this actually

only reason why i bring it up is that to me the crossbow feels the most useless even tho it is stealthy, since its the same firing speed but one bolt instead of the spread of 3
