Whenever I see a watch like that, I'm impressed by the design but I can't help but think "that's way too many moving parts." Not in the sense that it can't work, but in the sense that the Swiss are kind of insane.

Also I can't imagine wearing around anything that cost hundreds of dollars, unless it's actually keeping me alive somehow. :P

I actually found the website that I was talking about. Its called bidz.com it use to be all watches but now they have all different types of jewelry that you can find and bid on or buy. Right now I just went on the bidz website and I saw a $1,000 watch going for $10 and it was sold for $20. The bidding price starts at $1 but I think you need account to bid on watches or any other jewelry that you might like.

Here's the link to the website if anybody here is interested of buying jewelry or watches.

http://www.bidz.com/

Anyways the 2 watches that I've showed you ahm. Which of these 2 should I get or if it was up to you guys what watch would you get?

Went to a local game store in a nearby town and played in a 4v4 Halo 2 tournament. There were only 3 teams, but my team beat the other two, and we each got like $9 a piece. It was a nice break from parenting

Also got ahold of a copy of Space Hulk at the same store. I've played a few games, and am absolutely loving it.

Finally finished up some of the modding I was doing to my car. The first thing I did was permanently ground the fog-lights (light green wire in the third picture) so that I can run all 6 lights at once (low/high/fog), which is illegal on the street by the way (hence the factory design of fogs turning off when high-beams come on.) I also removed the windshield wiper tank reservoir (which loaded weighed like 20-30 pounds) to clean up the engine-bay and bring the weight down a little. I do all my mods clean, anything I've changed from stock is safe in storage undamaged. Of course, I can't ever uncut the ground-wire to the fuse box, but I could always re-splice it. And I use electrical tape and wire crimps to keep everything clean and protected from weather. I really want to do a lot visually to my engine bay, I have a whole theme in mind, but bills say I can't do it yet. lol (I MADE SURE PICTURES WERE SMALLER THIS TIME!)

So I got a working computer to replace my old one and since it was an old computer in and of itself I opened it up to give it a deep cleaning. And of course I had to pull the duct out so I could get better access to the CPU heatsink... only the heatsink was bolted to the duct and it was so cemented to the CPU that it pulled the CPU OUT OF SOCKET, BENDING PINS IN THE PROCESS. So I went from having a working computer replacement to bricking it before I ever used it to move files off my hard drives.

Screw this, I'm buying the external hard drive enclosure that I should have owned long before this mess, for precisely this reason. I can fix or build a new system later after I see my dad.

This moderation policy is genius. It's not a universal solution, but if I ever open a comment section somewhere, I'll keep it in mind. :D

Holy cow, now that's primo backtrolling! :D

Unfortunately, I see a red flag here. If you really think about it, the suggestion is a form of censorship. I can see it working in some places, and I can see it being maliciously used in too many other places. So, you really have to be careful where you decide to utilize that policy. Be absolutely damn sure that the comments in question pointlessly detract from the topic at hand.

Looks like the author himself also thought of that. He goes on to state a few guidelines he does to check whether or not a post needs to be "kittened". :3

Actually I did something similar on Skulltag, except instead of editing their posts I used the profanity filter to change their video links. When they posted links of a known aim hack the filter instead changed it to Rick Astley. More often than not, the poster was completely unaware of this happening, and people who were trying to shit on the community and post cheats ended up rick-rolling everyone repeatedly instead.

For something to be censorship requires both a sincere message and a valid outlet for that message. I don't think most people would argue that washing the "FUCK CARLOS" graffiti off your wall is fine, sine regardless of whether Carlos deserves it or not, your wall is not the place for it. :P

(Besides, on a privately managed board, "free speech" is not applicable.)

Not a bad idea, since otherwise they were never gonna give it up. ;)
