A request for torm: Please think of those who played at HNTR and and ended up with no ammo and 1 health point left. (Which would be me.) I didn't have much problems with the monster placement, but it was frustrating trying to kill 15 imps with only ones fists. One or two more stimpacks would have helped a lot. Or a berserk pack somewhere. I hate having to cheat to not get killed in a very violent way every time i open a door. If it's out of the question, at least give me some hints, because i have only 16 shotgun shells and about a hundred monsters left to kill in TNT2.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
First at all, the bad news: My internet connection is still broken at home, I just have limited access here at work so I can't deliver new WIP shots or things like that.
But the good news is that I finally continued work on UTNT and as I have already said before, TNT2 and TNT1 are completely finished, full of new detail, new rooms, new surprises and new stuff that makes you experience TNT like you have never done before, I promise! The next step is TNT3 and I already worked for some time on this map. I already added a day/night transition effect to the complete outside areas as well as changes, new rooms and detail to the first 20% of the map, it looks even better than before, but I really fear the rest of the map. Large parts of it are very hacky and already cramped so that most of this must completely be rebuild, thats for sure and beyond, the map is already over 2600 sectors large and there is still 80% to go. Estimated size is somthing aroung 6500 sectors as it looks now. Conc. Map02 of TNT3 I won't change much, it already looks quite good and I will only change a few special effects and fix some bugs but overall it will stay.
At least the ugly news, visit my site and spend me a guestbook entry, I'd be very happy ;)

First off, the "TNT" series has been in his website http://realm667.drdteam.org/index.php?o ... &Itemid=50 for quite some time now.

Second, he's renovating the "TNT" series (making improvements, combining, adding, etc.). He plans to release the "TNT" series, when he is done with every episode. Right now, he said he had finished renovating episodes 1 and 2 and is moving on to episode 3. Clearly, he hasn't released the improved "TNT" (soon to be called U:TNT), yet because he is not finished. Many work needs to be done on TNT 3 and TNT:LE before he releases this project as a whole.

He also has to wait for KDiZD since he stole resources from it.

I will work a lot of time on the ammo/monster balance this time as well as the health/monster balance. I will add skill settings, coop compatibility and much more so everyone is pleased in the end :)

Progress on UTNT
TNT3 MAP01 is about 25% finished detail/designwise, but it's getting a pain in the a*** to work on that now as it has already 2800+ sectors... very annoying! I must find a way to speed things up a bit!

Some more progress report on UTNT Episode 3:
I feel that DoomBuilder's limits combined with the limits of my machine are very close on this map so I had to split it into two parts. The first part of TNT3 Map01 is about 3500 sectors thick and ends before the mining facility (the one with the bright brown fog) and almost finished. So the only thing that's left now is the second part, then some tweaks on TNT:LE and finally finishing the TNT4 boss battle arena :) After this I will start with minor bugfixes and the betatests as well as coop support. And tomorrow I get back my internet at home so I finally can deliver some developement shots! Cheers ;)

Whoa, look sweet, especially that portal. How many portal objects did you need for that?

In terms of detail, Tormentor, you certainly have outdone yourself once again. Keep up the good work.
