I finished! Hush, I know it's late, but a lot of it was spent bouncing back and forth between Zandronum, GZDoom Builder, SLADE, and the ZDoom wiki. It uses a bunch of ACS and a bit of DECORATE, but should still be 100% compatible with any addons. Except LegenDoom. I was considering doing something about that, but there's no 'check if this actor exists' function. Also, 100% functional in Zandro 2.1.2, because I actually tested it in Zandro.

Anyway, enough of that, map's right here, including the needed DECORATE (only use one doomednum, 28792), a MAPINFO lump for the necessary settings (I did a little bit of interesting stuff), the textures used (and the source), and the ACS source too, in case anyone wants to look at my horrid work. And by horrid I mean 'probably just okay'. Oh, also, includes a music track that I've had for, like, a year, and haven't had the opportunity to use 'til now.

Forewarning, the textures used DO NOT adhere to the Doom palette, so the level'll look a bit strange (especially the skybox) in Software mode.

There's a shotgun just behind one of the doors in the first room. It's why the enemies at the start are facing away from you. As for the chaingunners...yeah, you're right. I was just making it up as I went along for monster placement, especially towards the end.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll move some things around to try and make it more manageable.

Black Metal Fortress

Well this took quite a while, despite the map being short. I did have fun with it, but I think I spent too much time on certain aspects, which is why it took much longer. I also changed some things, such as ammo numbers, as before you had to have almost every shot connect, or else you would have absolutely no ammo while in the middle of a battle! I also created my first ever ACS script, albeit very simple.

The end fight I believe is a little stale, but I just wanted to get this done before it ends up being too late. At least I learned how to better use Doom Builder!

If the map is going to be added to the map pack, I would like the displayed quote to be:

"GO BLOW ON A NINTENDO CARTRIDGE!"

Do note that I never really got the time to make the starting building look nice, so just prepare yourself for that.

It isn't, but managing to eke a map out within a week, especially if speed-mapping isn't your strong suit, is a victory in and of itself.
