Someone I know was toying with it recently, but I don't think they were able to complete a map port pack due to the model format being different and textures apparently being a pain to port in some cases.

Q3 BSP stores models compiled into the map as geometry. the only real issue with models are rather a "bullfrog did things in their own skeletal format an there's not a programmer in the world to write a loader for them yet" for the couple exclusive players.


...which is no big deal to me really, vadrigar looks horrible, no big loss

I agree, it's good that they didn't show up in standard Quake 3 PC Version, they broke the expectation of how what they looks like in Q3 Revolution but that thing claiming himself as Vadrigar was dull AF.

In my mod i'm still thinking if i should show them in some part or keep them as a mystery, OFC i will find a very interesting model for them if i decided to show at least one (and no, no IC for them).

Regards Kinsie and lei's posts, yes, but regards my post, not exactly. Team Arena is required for the PS2 levels, but it doesn't work on the Xbox as controller support is handled by the VM.

Holy cow! It took me more than 5 freakin' hours to finally beat Saints Row: The Third (aimed to head for the statue, then came to a big end on Mars, actually an film set)
Still need to beat the Downloadable Content missions, but hey, it was the core game.

In other news, I've got all of my equipment back up and running at my apartment, which includes my main machine (I can play Warframe and Doom 2016 again, yay!), and my miniatures paint kit.

About a month ago I ordered a few used miniatures from ebay, including an Unseen Griffin that fell in my lap for less than $10. The catch was that the LRM drum was not there, and neither was its PPC, but fortunately I had enough spare parts to fix up a variant. A few extra lasers from a Reseen Marauder kit, plus a spare Bushwacker LRM arm to replace the drum, allowed me to construct the GRF-1S.

I also acquired my first pair of aerospace fighters (Shilone, Sparrowhawk) and a third UrbanMech.
