I spent all day adding species but random enemies still pop up alone in the card selections. I had one card that said "Imps now fire Imp projectiles" which was funny.
Could you link the mod in question and I'll take a look?

This was pretty neat. I don't know how I missed this mod. It appears to work in my old Lizard Squad mod as far as I can tell.

This is a great mod. Really spices up playthroughs, be it playing only with vanilla weapons and monsters or custom weapons and monsters.

I tested this with Touhou Doom and I noticed that the bosses of different levels get triggered early, which ends up breaking the flow of most levels.

If possible, can you make a patch for Touhou Doom?

Edit: Why am I getting attacked by killer chickens when the enemy kills them in the crossfire?

this + Plutonia + double revenant and chaingunner cards is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. 10/10.

This mod is a lot of fun, on a serious note. I'll definitely be using this one frequently :D, looking forward to future iterations!

using 'kill all' console command froze the game after picking the 'random enemy explodes into army' card.

New card idea:

Mist around the player have a chance to appear.

Covers the view of player with thick white mist around the player, you can only see a few meters infront of you, distand monsters will be impossible to see unless you move closer!

New card idea:

One monster is cursed. Killing it will give Invurnability to all monsters in map for a short time. (20/30 seconds)

Tiny issue: it seems that the card "Revealing a secret spawns a monster" works only on the map where you choose it, even if it's supposed to be permanent.

I can second this, but it seems like it maybe works randomly after that.

would is be possible to add a Hardcore mode to the Zandronum version which doesn't implement mystery cards? mystery cards can result in unfun cards on longer wads.
or maybe point me at the line that controls how many levels before more mystery are added?
