Who still uses skulltag? Didn't we all convert to zandronum already? your username fits you well. (Warning issued - don't care what their username is, an attack is still an attack. -mgmt)
Sorry I'm such a noob with this, can you tell me what I should use to run this proyect?.

Skulltag/Zandronum are based on older versions of ZDoom that may not contain all the features needed to run Winter's Fury. I suggest tracking down GZDoom 1.6.00 or a more recent sub-version (SVN) build.

Really cool (heh...) mod! I do however have a problem with the number of enemies. Way too many! It would be okay if there were more ammo laying around or if the monster's HP was lower than it is.
Otherwise, nice job.

OT:Ok I've tried with Zdoom and didn't work well, had sound issues and also a lot of bugs....Then I donwloaded GZDoom and it's very usefull and good.

I need to say I love this wad, good storyline, nice monster, and also the maps...If we compare the original doom with this, the original doom is nothing compared with this.

SURPRISE

Image
PART III

Image

…and it’s finally done! Yes, yes, slightly later than what I had hoped for, but it’s still an early Christmas present!

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?qixbf6394vbpzh2
(Cookies for the first person to download and then find a game breaking issue on MAP01. It's happened before and it will happen again! :P )
Spoiler:
Now remember, this is a GZDoom project that runs from Doom 2. I recommend you play through Parts 1 and 2 again, as some things have been changed. However, if you don’t really want to then that’s okay, as you are perfectly able to select any Part to start on from the main menu. For those interested, Part 1 starts on MAP01, Part 2 starts on MAP04A, and Part 3 starts on MAP07A.
The recently discovered Bloom effects work in this as well, but some things aren’t illuminated as they should be, and don’t expect any miracles with the frame rate.
Also, here’s a quick rundown of what’s included:

-15 Maps:
3 Cinematic Maps
12 Gameplay Maps

- 7 New-ish Weapons!
(Not including the fist…)

- Icy Monster Variants!

- 7 Bosses!
(And 2 mini bosses!)

- Storyline!
(Complete with backstory, in game dialogue, and skippable cut scenes. Except for one and a half of them. Long story.)

Unfortunately, it is in this projects nature to be quite the slide show of frames on slower machines. I recommend a decent powered computer which doesn’t have too much trouble running things like Tormentor 667’s ‘The Refinery’ or Ed_C’s ‘Putrefier’. If you can’t run those, feel free to try anyway. The lag has been extremely inconsistent within testing, and you might get lucky.
If you suffer from large slowdowns of your frame rate while playing, try turning off the 'Shaders for Dynamic Lights Option', or furthermore, turn off Dynamic Lights completely. Static light is implemented, so having the dynamic lights off doesn't change the way the game is played at all. It has been noted several times that turning off the dynamic lights can really help performance. Also, You can bind two keys in the control menu to turn off the snow effect and the torch effect, which also help performance, mainly on larger maps.

This has got to the point where it isn’t very public beta-ish anymore, but things could still be wrong with the finished product. So, remember to report back on any bugs, and complain about things that are too hard. : P

Lastly, for those of you who decide to play from the very start again, and for those of you who like a little something extra to hunt for, some new additions have been made to find which may not have been there before…

Finished. It's... spectacular. I mean, I honestly thought "this is the new Zen Dynamics." It really is a masterpiece. Truly.

Really can't get over just how good it was. The gameplay matched the visuals. The atmosphere was achingly cool (heh) - you never forgot that where you were was cold, and that's kind of hard to do. The storyline not only made sense, but was interesting and didn't seem cheap at any point. Adored it. Absolute gold.
