[Project] Doom2 remake (Abandoned?)

Projects that have specifically been abandoned or considered "dead" get moved here, so people will quit bumping them. If your project has wound up here and it should not be, contact a moderator to have it moved back to the land of the living.

Ok I agree with you i REALLY changed too often the textures... :( But hey at the exit! The FIREBLU2 is a kind of forcefield... :) ok so i modify the map "a little" ? :wink:

You only need the blue card to open the red door. You can fix this by changing the last arg to 1. I think I'll just do this myself, though.

Ok starting room+shotgun secret are there I will add an spiffy skybox and several monsters from the mrw as well.
I'm using Nick Baker's recolored doom texture pack cause I want my map to remain as doomy as possible.

I'm planning to use more zdoom stuff like sliding doors and sparks and ambient sounds maybe even some cameras :)
Its gonna be an sexy map.

@Pelle123 I have all the things ready, I just sent someone a PM concerning permission to use something they made. And map20's music isn't the music you made. The music that will be used is found here. Yes, it was ripped from Æons of Death.

@Dutch Devil The map looks like it is progressing well. :D

Well I just started working it like an hour or so ago before that I had some other map going but I deleted that one cause it wasn't going like I wanted to.I have an good feeling about this one when I have good feeling right from the start then it will be an good map.I'm making mine from scratch its alot more fun this way and I can give the whole map my own mapping style.

Btw is it okay if I use an mp3 from psx doom, I would like that but I'm not sure if that will cause problems.

Yes, you can use an MP3 from psx doom. It wouldn't cause any problems (I don't think it would, at least).

Hey guys, i've got some(more) music if the project still needs:

It's not made by me, it's made by some guy on doomsday's site. It was in the addons section though i cant find it now.
(I like the "Bye bye american pie" most. Filename: D_ampie, map 23 i think, barrels o' fun)

And, i'm slowly, but nicely advancing with MAP06. New pics soon! The big area where the crusher is is almost complete! I think it will be a 'bit' hard but ill try to balance the skill levels correctly.

If i can help with any other things, i'd be glad to help :)

As soon as I get permission to use something. They either haven't logged on in a long time, or are just ignoring my PM.

P.S. I made a titlemap.

Also, the new bfg is INSANELY overpowered.
